Heeeeeee's Baaaaaaack !!!!
What a wonderful 14 days it's been. 2 nights at Levi's and 3 at Soldier's and 5 days soaking in the blissful waters of Wilbur Hot Springs with my Bride.
The Dead came out ready to please... and they did just that. Each night was better than the last and yet the one before was better than next.... It exceeded my expectations my far.
The crowd was all about the music and the sense of community. Talked to dozens of people, all here to send the Boys off, enjoy the magic one last time and reminisce about the past.

It felt like the 70's hippie love and peace much more the the huge crowds of the 80-90's, yet there over 70K in the stadium and 1000's more outside. Nothing like seeing close to 100K DH's taking over Chicago
Our hotel played the Dead all weekend long and the staff all wore Tie-Dye !!!! I heard other hotels did the same.
An experience I'll never forget.
Mrs Wharf picked me up at the airport and we were off to Wilbur. 4 nights and 5 days soaking in those healing waters was very much needed for both of us. Regarded as some of the best waters on the planet with high Lithium content.... who needs Xanax
Wilbur is out in the middle of... nowhere ! No cellular, no wifi and not even an electrical socket to plug in (yeah, that's hard to get used to) but so good for the soul. I can't think of a less stress-free place on earth......
... And yet, It's good to be home

Wharf your adventure fills my heart with happy! I can't imagine a better experience for a devoted DH...and a devoted 30 years of marriage!! Thank you for bringing a little piece of that home for us

I don't know where this Wilbur is that you speak of, but I sure could stand some time there. Thanks for sharing your journey with us.

Continued prayers for Salem and MamaGold.....
100* and bustin' that hump all ding dang day....Enjoyed some fruits of that labor with a stack of Benjamins tho...No rest for the wicked....the light isn't visible so the end of the tunnel is a ways off yet....Rolling on tomorrow....Ask me about the yellow jackets that dug a nest where I parked my little trailer earlier this week...Little bass turds

Wow, Wharf! That sounds like it was an awesome time. What I would not give to be able to jump back to the 70s and stay there!
Waiting on my son ( as usual) to get here with my grandson. I almost cancelled having them come but decided I really need to see them. They should have been here yesterday morning but, grandson spent last week with his mom at the beach in a house with a pool. Between the ocean and the pool, he has a bad case of swimmers ear. He was in too much pain yesterday to make the trip. Feeling better today and they should have been here hours ago except that we are dealing with sons time and not real time
Our plans were to spend the week in my sisters pool. That will not happen now but, I am sure that we will find plenty to do.
I take my mom back to doc Tuesday morning to see where we go from here. Not sure what the week will bring but, we will deal with it as it comes.
