I would like to hear more of your thoughts on the vertical coils for the subox. I just learned that we didn't receive all of our units and more will arrive soon. I asked that a white one be held aside for me...but if I decide I don't want it, it wouldn't be a problem either. What didn't you (who've tried them) like about them?

I honestly took 2 or 3 hits on one but what impressed me was I didn't cough like I do with the ksm.

I haven't tried the vertical coils, but I know Dee had a big failure with his. I don't know how many pages back you'd have to look, but he kept getting dry, burnt hits and I think he finally chunked the vertical heads across his county I haven't researched them outside of hearing Dee's disgust with them. You can use the regular occ heads or the rba in it tho. Coulda been just a bad batch.

I didn't have any luck with them either. Less than a day I was getting funky burnt tastes. With the old horizontal coils you could at least dry burn and re wick. I do use a 80% vg liquid most of the time. Love my Subox with the rba though.

Hmmm thanks Wuzz and Bov! Funky dry burns are not my idea of a good Vape either. Maybe I'll just pass on this.

External batteries, 100 watt iSticks are going to be pre released in mud August I am hearing!!! Think I'll just save my $ for one of those.

Kanger vertical coils are a NO GO !!!!!!! They simply perform like sheet...Don't waste your money...

The new Kanger deck with the screw Wuzz mentioned is a go. I'm still rolling on the second wick....

5.5 years on the vapor...I mix juice....I make coils....Sometimes all that is just a hassle...i was hoping the KSM would provide a good vape and some relief from the coil building stuff...I've played out the KSM and I'm not 100% satisfied with the results.....It's OK but that's all...My favorite plug in a factory coil and play....the Mini Nauty...Now Aspire has caught my eye with the new Triton...Coils are pricey...the RBA isn't included with the tank and looks a shade wonky plus I'm looking plug and play...The top fill and reports of flavor and vapor are pushing me to order up...I'm still looking at hanging up my vaping boots soon and just tired of such high maintenance tanks...
