Good morning Refugees. The palm tree saw it's shadow the other day. Looks like we've got six more weeks of Florida. 81 here today but it'll be short lived. Rain tomorrow and Friday when the next front comes through. Hope everybody is doing well. Time for me to grab a bite and saddle up. Workout day at the "Y".

Me too, Bov. I can't say that I ever have a problem going back to sleep though. I think that I could sleep around the clock if i tried.

Good morning, all. Went to get another pack of these ceramic coils from vapeNW this morning. They went up in price by $3 per pack. Knew I should have ordered yesterday. They are still the best price that I have seen though.

Warm and humid here but, storming and pouring rain. I may have to go get an early nap

A nap is in my daily schedule, but most certainly today. Went to bed at 3am, woke at 7am and couldn't go back to sleep.

It's humid and rainy here too, with wicked winds and gusts. Upper 50s today so at least it ain't snow

Yes, it's been a ridiculously warm winter everywhere. I hate to see what the bug population will be like this summer.

Got to get up early and take my mom for pulmonary function test. Thought I would pop in and say good night.

Talk about crazy weather. This morning 78 and sunny. This afternoon rain. Low tonight 51 and high tomorrow 59. Cooler temps all next week. I know those don't sound like much if you compare them to the north. I'm with Salem on the bugs. I was hoping we'd get at least one hard freeze or the parasites are going to be awful this summer. Hope y'all have a bodacious day.

Getting hammered by the rain.....Warm though so It could be worse.......

Pretty sure no matter how cold it gets during winter the bugs amounts are gonna be the same.....Now the skeeters got the Zika Virus....so there's that.....Yay!!!!!!!!

The Harbor Freight flat screen mount works just fine......Was successful in my attempt to get the Vizio and DirectTV remote working together.....Now I ain't gotta teach Mom new tricks.....Dang Direct lists 150 brands of TVs on the receiver....Is Vizio one????????? Hell no.......Google saved the dang day......

All that purty graded yard is mostly in the creek this am.......Least the ruts will map the area for me....let me know where to mound a little so the water goes in the neighbor's yard....It was after all his damn tree......

Now all I need is a bill from the electrician.....Yeah.....Did fine work and promptly disappeared....same as my old buddy the appliance repairman....needing an un-repairable ticket of the chest freezer....then find the cost of a comparable Kenmore freezer......

Trapped by the rain while going into the shop for tools needed to install TV I managed to get the oil in the Samurai and fire it up....So far so good on that...Plugs/wires/distributor cap next followed by an internal scrubbing and tuning of the carberator.....I do it in steps and fire it up in case it won't fire up!!! Unc C had been craigslisting Samurais and keeps saying "Fix and SELL!!".....Yeah they're high priced and I bought low.....Still I bought it because I wanted it....

We have mud season in Feb. Both sides of the big hill are a mess as is our road.

My yard is a mud bowl! Makes for a heckuva mess letting the dogs in and out.
The snow melt was big time yesterday (yay!) the whole area was covered in snow melt fog. I'm happy to see it go!

We're supposed to get 2-4" of snow tonight and tomorrow, just enough to make a mess. I'm not gonna complain too much tho, we've been spared so far this winter.

1-3 for us and we need it to insulate our septic pipes. All our snow is gone.
