Prayers and good thoughts for you and your mom Salem.

I was not aware that the elderly cannot run fevers to rid infections. Scary!

See! I would think that most people don't know that. I found it out while researching why elderly people get so confused with a UTI. Seems like it would be important info to have as a caretaker of an elderly person. Needs to be a handout that all Drs give out IMO. Their immune system is just no longer able to use fever as a defense anymore.

Caregivers are on their own as far as information goes.....Detrimental to the old Doc's bottom line.....

Just today I learned that after eating something sugary your immune system functions at 50%....%s go up and down from 50% depending on the amount and type of sugar....10 teaspoons of regular cane sugar was at 50% for 5 hours post....

Hope the tank works well Bov.....that coil though......looks surprisingly similar to one I chunked in the trash earlier....Hope it's a winner....

I finally summoned the courage to speak with Flip's wife and sons.....The storms that were in Louisiana today are scheduled to arrive here about the same time as the funeral....We'll see how that works out....Flip was 12 years my senior....We were not exactly cut from the same mold.....I can't count the odd looks we used to get when people saw how tight we were.....Pretty sure they were being judgemental against the old Evel One....That works both ways though and I ain't skeered to knock teeth out.....I'll carry his memory and hope to meet him again one day...

Though totally different braking systems my two samurais shared the same brake line needed....I got it off the junker and sitting in the shop before calling time out....Now all I gotta do is get up in time to make myself presentable for the funeral....Thankfully I got a trim a couple days back

Seems I lost track somewhere as I see condolences for Bov losing a friend....or friends.....Sorry I missed it and sorry for your loss !!!!!

I watched a couple of reviews on the Krixus and no mention of bad connections or shorts in the coils...fingers crossed.

Finding the brake line needed on the junker makes me happy that something went in your favor, Dee. Glad to know you shared your condolences with Flip's family, such a hard thing to do when you are grieving as well. My sympathies as you see Flip laid to rest.

And thank you for the sympathies for my old friends and a friend's 23 yo daughter. I have not seen any of these people since high school, still sad to news to hear.

Snow to sleet to rain this afternoon and tonight, but hopefully nothing more than a nuisance. It was too warm for the snow to stick, heard sleet pelting the siding just a bit ago.

Evening :)

Yep I did...Krixus Tank by Horizon Tech - Coming Soon / Pre-Order - New Arrivals

Top fill, easy peasy, great air flow, easy rewicking ceramic coil. Use this coupon code for 20% off
20%offPre-Orders

Yep, alot of people have been waiting for that one. I do hope that it is even close as good as these cCells are.

Think that I am sticking with these for now. Still on my first coil on day 28 and no sign of being close to needing cleaned or changed. I have been vaping my Blueberry vanilla Custard in it since day 1. Normally clogs coils fairly quick. Please do let us know how you like it when you get it though.

Darn that is a great deal with the code. Nope, I am going to wait it out. Wondering if the coil is nickel? I know several people that say nickel does not work well with ceramic or TC.

ugh, eagerly waiting your review

It says it's ceramic on tungsten, like the Altus.

I picked up the Moonshot on Friday. Designed here in Cali by Suprimo, built by Sigelei. Bottom air fed like the Kennedy RDA. It only holds 2mls but is has easy top fill and I like shorter tanks anyway. I'm loving it.

El Dee & Bov, so sorry for your loses. Whether you saw them every day or hadn't seen them in a while they obviously meant something to you that shouldn't be ignored.

Dee definite prayers for you today especially.

All, I really do appreciate the help and camaraderie that I've found here even if I'm too flaky to be on consistently. You all are good friends, thanks.

Oly, you aren't flaky most of the time  Seriously, we all have lives away from the computer. Sometimes I have plenty of time to be here but many times, I do not. I enjoy hearing from you when you are able to be here and i feel sure that others do as well. :)

Good morning, all.
Heavy, heavy rain through the night. back to being warm and muggy today. Hope everyone has a great day :)

Morning folks :)

Wondering if the coil is nickel? I know several people that say nickel does not work well with ceramic or TC.

Salem, Wharf already gotcha covered...the Krixus coil is Tungsten. Whether or not it works with tc is not a concern for me since I use power mode all the time.

Oly, I'm very glad you joined us here! Most of our little group has been together coming up on 5 years. We're a tight bunch and you fit right in...Wuzz too!

Dee, today my thoughts will be with you, and another friend who is going to have a difficult day. Sending all the love and support I have

Had to take Chase to the vet today. He's had some places on his skin that I've been keeping my eye on, and it started spreading. Bacterial skin infection is the dx, he got a high potency, long lasting antibiotic injection and some shampoo I have to bath him in.

Laid down about 5pm and just woke up! Good thing I'll be awake all night since we now have water coming into the basement.
