Good morning, all.

Fran, hope that job goes well for your son. My sister and BIL were team drivers for many years. They did very well for themselves too. Semi retired now. A lot different being stuck 24/7 in a constantly moving truck with a spouse than a stranger though.

You didn't hear this from me but, they can get just a little odd being out there listening to talk radio all of the time.

Tracy, glad to hear DD is coming around. At least sort of :)

I'm currently holding an empty 1/2 gallon cold brew jar.....Gonna get my act together and start brewing whole gallons soon....There's no way in Hades it will go bad here....Going with a gallon brew will require giving up the bags....they work good but are a little cumbersome....Gonna hook up with a Bunn SS filter basket that holds the 12 cup filters.....Gonna used unbleached filters....Sam's Club and the Pablo's pride have been getting me by....Gonna start a Costco membership soon....They have Greenies at Costco and that alone should help the budget....

Joy of joys.....Somewhere nearby a tick has given birth....I've found three microscopic ticks crawling on me...One latched on....The baby ticks bite numerous times I guess looking for a good blood supply....Like a tick tattoo gun....Sheer agony is what it is....I've checked Spike under strong light after every trip out and so far he's clean....Most likely I found the ticks on my own while picking up one of the 10 million branches Hermine blew down.....I've had good success with poison in the past....It's poison though....I don't know where they are and killing every other bug in hopes of getting the ticks just isn't on my agenda....Let me find their local though and they're gonna pay.....

Gotta haul that Ranger bed down too the shop and then hit the parts store....My back pack blower would be handy cleaning up some of the Hermine debri....Will it start?????? Always gets triple the price ethanol free gasoline combined with 4X the price synthetic 2 stroke oil....Started fine last time....100,000 sweaty yanks on the starter and no go....I gave up before it met an untimely demise....

LD, get some peppermint oil and put in you and Spike before going outside. It will repel them and many other bugs. Those ticks are carrying some nasty diseases these days.

If you have a GNC or Health Food store local, you could probably get it there. :)

My TT driving son has changed jobs. Still driving TT but he's gone back to cross country hauling. 5 days to drive a Fed-X TT to Ca non-stop with 2 drivers.

My oldest sister and her husband used to drive long haul for Mayflower and United van lines. They had a sleeper cab and drom box so they made good time. They loved all the traveling until they decided it was time to have a family. I don't know how anyone makes money driving anymore with all the regulations and fees. At least if he is driving for FedEX he isn't responsible for all the fees.

Anyone have an WISMEC Reuleaux RX200 TC 200W Box Mod or the RX200s, i've read where several reviews are saying the original is better than the RX200s but would like to get opinions from you all if possible. I just want a 3 batt setup (geeking a bit i guess).

Moon, Dee, and I all had the original RX200's, I still have and use mine. I know Dee PIF'd his to someone, not sure if Moon is still using his. It's big and heavy, but I do like the battery life. Never used temp mode on any of my mods, so I can't speak a yea or nay on that.

Kinda hard to show the bulk of it, but it's a handful...

It would only be for while i'm at my computer desk (gaming), so the size doesn't matter that much. Actually having one that would be less likely to fall over would be great. My ipv4(s) has hit the floor too many times.

Starting to think I picked up those ticks at my cousin's house Sunday night when I went there for dinner...During her Spring ice cream social we were finding ticks left and right...Yeah !! She has dogs and they're allowed in the house....They spent the evening with me....Spike hasn't been effected at all....We were both all over the property today and so far no ticks have been found....Gonna check into the peppermint oil.....

Yeah I had an RX 200 Jaybo....I gave it too Five....I see now where they got it in the 2/3 battery option...It's an OK mod for sure....I'd look at the H Cigar VT 75....Single 26650 and that big old battery provides some stability when sitting upright....DNA chip is hard to beat......I like it a little better as it's a shade smaller but still gets great battery life....Either one is fine though....

That whole belt deal from last week....Barnett's HD in El Paso had $80 belts for $29....I went too the local HD and they only had belts that would make better dog collars....Sheet they couldn't sell cause ain't no dang body got a waist that small....So no go on try on the $80 and order the $29.....Best I could do was shop around and try some belts for size and most of those were 40 or 42 even though I wear a 36 pant...So I ordered a hoodie/buckle and a 40 hoping it would be big enough....Hell yeah my shorts slip mighty bad in the last notch and there is a skull concho preventing any more dang holes....It's a badd azz belt and I'm at my end of summer weight but if it's a go ever it will require the buckle it came with....My buckles add about an inch or so due to width...So I got a badd azz belt I can't wear unless an ice cream truck breaks down nearby....then there's the buckle thing adding length and couple all that with the belt having half the number of holes as my old worn out belt....So I went back and got a 36 and a dang 38....That should solve that right now....$90 in an $80 belt....but I got three....that's about right....I threw in a Willie G zip hoodie to get the free shipping...Pretty sweet with the Willie G skull embroidered on the chest and back....It was readily over a $100 on several E Bay adds....I got that for $49 from Barnett....So now I got 3 belts....one buckle.....two hoodies and my dang shorts are still falling down....With all the belt activity my FB is flooded with belt ads....Pretty sure I saw Wharf's belt and while I do like it I gotta have black leather and some dang bling bling....We good wid dat now and the 36 might even fit with a wide buckle....

Ground some Pablo's Pride for the Keurig tonight....That's pretty swell coffee right there....Got another 1/2 gallon brewing away as well.....I spent all my monies on coffee and belts....and Greenies....Spike is addicted to Greenies............

Katie swears up and down that someone has been sleeping in our shed, and was all bent outa shape this morning claiming that she actually saw him and told him to "git and don't come back!" I see no evidence of anyone having been in our shed, it's an old aluminum 6x8, crammed full of nothing but snow shovels, lawn rakes, and big paper lawn bags that we put leaves and hedge clippings in. No room for anyone to sleep in there. All of our equipment that has any value is locked up in the garage.

Not being willing to argue about it anymore, I went and bought a padlock for the shed. Katie is happy, and now I have another key on my key ring...will have to take my dang keys with me every time I go outside. A padlock on a door that you can easily push right off it's track

Hope the belts work out for ya, Dee!

The recurring cost for roasting your own really is nice, when you find a shop that consistently offers good sales on quality beans.

Fortunately I built the little addition, where I roast, just before I stopped smoking -- no smoke detector in the entryway, and it has a good ventilation fan that exhausts direct to outdoors. It's a pleasant weekend ritual, roasting some coffee for the coming week.

I knocked my rx200 off my computer desk one too many times now it fires all the time. I'll have to take it apart one of these days. Not sure if I'll get another one I have the UD Balrog (built in lanyard) and a DNA 75, both small 18650's, en route. Here is a good price on the Hcigar vt 75, posted back in the thread aways and Vape NW has good price on the rx200.
