My dna is still swapping modes, and I can't blame it on finger fiddling this time. Swapped itself back to TC while I was watching tv last night. Picked it up this morn when I woke...back in watts mode. Time for a batt change a few mins ago, now we're running TC again. At least when it changes to TC, it's settings are just right for my vaping style

I never knew my extended family growing up. Every time that I read one of LDs posts, I thank my mom for that. Seems like there is enough stuff going on in my tiny, little family for me 
Hey Bov, are you using SS wire? It sounds like you may have an issue going on with the chip to me. You should contact Evolv. They are very good about backing up their products. They will take care of the problem.

Things came to a head with that Aunt when I was staining the 6 million pickets on Mom's deck....150** that day and she wants to inform me about how jealous her DIL is over my Niece.....That's her main form of manipulation....Talking about what others have said or done......She's not happy unless the family is at war...Dragging my Niece into her little game was a big old NEGATIVE!!!! Trust this....I cussed her azz out....She disappeared for a while and then they started using Mom's as their hotel....I ground that out like a Marlboro Light .... under the old shoe....I know she's got a personal vendetta against me for those two incidents....She knows two things though.....leave my Niece outta it and she ain't welcome here.....Last week Mom was beeching about what my Sis hasn't done for her.....Seems mighty damn funny to me the last time I heard Sis getting put down the same old Aunt was nearby.....I cover whatever shortcomings my Sis may have as far as caring for Mom's needs.....I'm good with it and it really ain't none of old Aunt's damn business....I was sick of her sheet 40 years ago and can't seem to rid her from my life....Looks like the nuclear option is all that's left.....That's just about enough about that.....I'm lurking in the shadows and ready to strike....

Bragg....That salvage auction Saturday is a guy with a military contract....Last year I scored big there....

Yep! Vaping with one right now. I saved the 2 original coils that came with the MeloIII and for some reason I saved the coils. I pulled the center pin out of one of those and used it on the Vapemod coil. Viola!!
Dee, I admire he way you handle your family issues. I walked away from mine for good the day after my Mom's funeral, I only put up with them for her sake. I got enough toxic crap in my life, I don't need their hatefulness. I'll do the same thing when Katie no longer needs me. Her nieces and nephew never come around or check on Katie, but they have the gall to talk about me taking care of my ex MIL because I think she'll put me in her will?! I've talked her out of changing that will several times! Some folks feed on drama.
Yes, I'm using SS coils, and have been for a long time. It was a setting I had no idea was in the menu. You have to turn TC off to force wattage mode. I think updating the firmware turned it on...but it's off now

Thats what my mom did when I was very young. Moved to another state with 3 small daughters in tow. Took a lot of guts because back then, single moms raising their children were unheard of. She did one helluva job though.

I feel your pain of family dramas. Mom died 10 years ago; Dad 7 years ago. I have a sister and a brother. I'm youngest and lived farthest away. Took the burden of cleaning the house (Dad passed very suddenly) Thought I was going to get SOME help from my older siblings. Sister snarled about why it took so long to settle the estate. Brother only contacts me when he needs money. I'm done with them both.
On a happier note, I broke out a regular 0.2 ohm Vapmod coil, and no leaking. I do have to be extra snug when tightening the base, but it's working quite well

Now get this....Mom has been away for the last two days staying at another Aunt's house....and Hellyeah old vendetta Aunt is right there....Mom has spurs in her knee and it's twice the size of the other knee...85....1/2 outta her mind and been rolling like Hell since last Thursday....Vendetta picked her up Sunday and they went to my other Aunt's.....Happy I ain't.....Funny thing though.....as I spent the afternoon mowing it crossed my mind how much better things woulda been if I'd hauled azz up outta here in "78....Staying was a mistake...... of which I've made many......I'm burn't out on that sheet....Let's just hope Mom's money is still in her account....Vendetta has squandered every last red cent since forever and is always in a bind.....Damn sure wouldn't be the first time.....Enough of that sheet.........

While I'm beechin'.....Boost internet....10 gigs $50....Boost phone....1 gig....unlimited talk and text with Android option $35.....Phone has always been good and in 5++ years I've only burned that 1 Gig once....Internet though.....I burn through that in an average of 3 weeks...sometimes less but never have I made it a month.....To restart the plan I can pay online but I can't restart the plan without calling and trust this....you will have punched a sheetload of buttons before they finally give up and put a live person on the phone....So usually to avoid all that sheet I pay $3 extra as a fee and pay in a Boost store and they call it in....unless they don't call it in like last month....Phones were down....actually it was cordless and they left the damn thing off the charger....but a failed promise to call it in $3 be damned....So today I go over to pay and the computer like the phone is down....35 miles to the next Boost store I go....I'm online so that finally worked out........but DAMMITT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I've surveyed the situation and have decided to get the so called unlimited data plan on the phone....that's gonna be $15 more per month but allows the phone to be a hotspot....Unlimited is 8 gigs before an anchor is thrown out....I figure that way I gain 7 gigs for $15....Living in the boonies I don't have a lotta options.....

I hear ya on being burned out, Dee. Katie took her meds twice tonight, so I'm keeping an extra close eye on her since it's her blood pressure meds. She's gone to bed, so at least I don't have to worry about her roaming around and having a BP drop, causing her to fall.
Hope the extra $15 works out for you. It is a challenge finding decent, affordable internet when you live in the boonies.
