AW Fran i was just coming on to say i was sorry about the no power situation and so happy now it’s been restored!
Pulse bf squonker came in today. I really like it - a very affordable, compact, 20700 mech squonker that also has an 18650 adapter.
I give the predator mech a plus for firing button (short throw, feather light touch), but otherwise prefer the pulse. The one caveat is you need to use a silicone 510 refill bottle ($7 - $8 for yftk or Therion, from FT); with the 510 bottle it's a simple refill, without it it would be a pita.
I'll take this, with a spare pulse 24 coil, for my trip. I'll empty the bottle and switch to a wasp nano rda during the flights out and back (in the airports), otherwise the liquid from the squonk bottle might get forced out at altitude.

Today's flight out got cancelled, apparently a weather issue.
I'd be happy to go out tomorrow, try for one flight (1 hour) earlier out of here, but it looks like someone is agitating for us to leave on a 6am flight. I'm not being too subtle in my opinion on that idea [emoji5]

I wouldn't be too subtle about a 6am flight either! Have a good trip, and come home safely, Mark.
I'd have to get up around 3 am, and we'd reach the destination at 12:30am local time the next day. The theory is we could then have meetings on Tuesday.
I know how my body works. Moving forward 7 time zones on an all day long daytime trip means I'd be incoherent Tuesday, still wiped Wednesday.
The norm is to catch an early evening flight across the Atlantic, end up being there mid afternoon local time. You finish adjusting that day so you're reasonably fresh on Wed morning.
