After two major hurricanes in the last month many of my fellow Southerners have lost everything.....It's very humbling to see the devastation....I'll pick up my limbs and fix my floors...If I get a chance I'll help others recover.....Hurricane yesterday....70** for the high today....Frikking freezing is what it is.....

I went through 25 pages of recipes here on the site.....There were a couple of promising options...Back in my early days I vaped a ton of waffle and have seen absolutely no waffle recipes....Not really looking waffle though but bakery juices seem to be more realistic to me...I know donut was a rage a year or so ago and there are blueberry and raspberry donut recipes but I care not for either....Gonna do some more searching and try and combine donut with lemon.....The charlie's chalk dust Lemon meringue curd is good but to heavy on the flavor for extended vaping IMO and you know I chain vape.....

On the return trip from the beach one Profile lost flavor....I rebuilt it when I got home....I combed and cut the wick pretty good but still I left to much wick for the well...It was a squinting nightmare.....I couldn't hit it enough to wet it....I pulled that wick and watched every video possible....The Wotofo video showed a simple angled cut from the bottom angling to in at the top....All the rest were pro reviewers and they all had wicked similar to what I knew didn't work well.....I went Wotofo cut and then combed and trimmed more where Wotofo didn't...Got the full amount of cotton up top and much less in the wells...Back to Nirvana....It's so good I'm gonna add a third Pulse X/Profile....

All the reading I did on previous mesh coils said the big issue was keeping the cotton up against the mesh...100% contact between the mesh and cotton or else a hot spot spewing burnt flavor...The spring loaded ceramic solved that along with the 6mm of cotton...I cut the top short so there are no legs pulling the cotton away from the mesh...I use the bottom of the wick for my wicking legs and thin that considerably...Still I have a full well of cotton just not doubly packed in there...It's working good....I've scored more recipes and gonna hit Bull City and then get another Pulse/Profile on the way....Now if someone would come out with an ergonomic regulated squonker I'd be game......

Gonna try 2 new juice recipes....Limealicious and Lemon Doughnut.....Got the flavor order in....

Got some 21700s and another Nitecore Q6 charger....Q6 only has a red/green light but I'm good with that...What I like best about the Q6 is it will fit 21700s with room to spare....I'll have 2 here and 1 at the beach so good on chargers....Also got another Pulse 90/ Profile combo coming...This one in frosted red which looks dark orange...The tip from the Pulse's included RDA fits the Profile like it was made for it...so...matchy,,,match....I should be good to go for a good while now....I got those recipes in % if anyone wants them...I really liked the lemon I got from Charlie's Chalk Dust but it was a little strong on the flavoring....

Spent today running down more screws for the storage building roof at the beach....I found where it was leaking and hopefully have that fixed...I drilled a leak location hole from underneath the roof and I'm pretty sure I forgot to seal that up...Gonna wash the Tacoma tomorrow and then head down and attack that roof and remove some furniture from the bedroom where I gotta replace the flooring...I'll feel a lot better about the whole deal when I get everything water tight again.....

Yall know it's chilly when I pull out the sweat pants! Unlike Dee, I'm loving it! Not gonna last long...back up to mid to upper 80s Monday.

A 5 gallon bucket and a gazillion trips got me this much rock moved after I cleaned the yard of sticks, and mowed. Still need to cut some timber fill pieces.

Thanks Dee, I might have to use there wicks but I'm going to try Native Wicks tonight.

Mrs Wharf, Marley and I went for a long walk this afternoon. Long enough to get a bit of a sweat. Marley always hits the first or (second step when it's really hot) of the pool when we get back. I thought I'd take a dip... The water was 63º and.... things change.. Ahem, biologically at that temperature
The latest dip ever was Oct 28th... never made Halloween but who knows???

The first year we built the pool I heated it for Thanksgiving. It was a really cold and it fogged the backyard. Kia and her cousins were all 7-9 yrs old. They had a blast for hours :)

Hi all!

Glad to see that people have been getting through the hurricanes safely. Stuff can be fixed.

The second vpdam leon came in. I'm very glad I ordered it, will do the same updates as the first (modmaker 510, copper contacts, enlarged squonk cutout). The resin box is nice looking, grippy, rounded corners, button works well, and my adjustments give it excellent performance.

Coffee this week are two kinds of Panama Finca San Teresa, one Lavado processed and the other Natural. The cupping notes are milk chocolate/orange and dark chocolate/cherry [emoji3]

I saw Rip Trippers using Firebolt Cotton in a Profile....I'm in no way a fan Of Rip...he lives nearby...The video was in the suggested area on the Tube...I watched it and the Firebolt has the plastic tube ends...Trippers was using 4 pieces to stuff the Profile...I stopped the video when I saw the 4 pieces....Better cotton is better cotton and I'm always open to an upgrade....I would suspect it won't be long before there will be more 6mm options with the shoestring thingy.....The second round of Profiles are already sold out in the preferred colors in most stores...

Got the Tacoma fully cleaned inside and out yesterday....Then lit the limb mountain from Florence in order to make room for another limb mountain from Micheal to follow.....I lit that pile at 3pm and last I saw it was @2am and it still had flame...You gotta push the unburnt to the coals in order to burn it all...Gonna check it when I go out here in a few...Planning to pack the clean Tacoma and head to the beach hopefully to finish the storage building roof....That roof work is tough though and has been giving my left knee issues....I'll get done what I can but the leak is fixed and that's most important....the rest is preventative...Gotta hit the store for dog treats beforehand....

Wharf, you so set yourself up for this one ;)

I knew you'd get a chuckle Bov

I rebuilt the Profile last night.... I really liked the Native Wicks, as it has a really clean taste. But I have been using Koh Gen Do for the last 2 years? or so. My problem with the Native Wick is it's a rope that's 1" wide and 1/2" thick. When I would pull some of the cotton off, I'd get a thicker portion and a thinner portion. Inevitably the thin part was at the coil and Koh Gen comes out perfect every time..... Well I tore off some of the native wicks and I twisted just under an inch.... I pulled just a bit through and then took my tweezers and pressed down the spring platform and pulled until the thickest part was past the the far side of the mesh and adjusted form there.... I don't know if it was better cotton or doing the Dee trim, but the flavor and performance was improved.... Thx Dee !!!

If any of you haven't tried it, rayon wick is really nice. I've been using Graham Cellucotton rayon for several years now - it's pretty much broken in when you do the initial drips on the coil and fire.

Low cost, wicks great, the fibers are inherently aligned as it comes in a long coil form. My test set was 40' from Amazon. When I finally used it up (with a bunch of samples sent), I bought the big box from a local Sally's Beauty Supply, about $20 for 500' of 1/2" diameter rayon coil [emoji3]

The only thing to be careful about is making sure to get the 100% rayon version, as they also do a cottton/rayon blend.

I'm not to sure about the Wotofo cotton....I ran out of the Chalk Dust Lemon stuff so I rewicked and added my go to Vanilla Custard....I burnt off the coil....Flavor is just so so....Gonna give it until tomorrow and see if it picks up...I got tons of the Ko Gen Do and Cotton Bacon.....

Walked the yard today and just became disgusted...All those limbs and the two trees disposed of and it's just as bad as before....I just came in and sat down....Got the white flag hoisted.....

Slow and steady ElDee. Those limbs aren’t going anywhere but I’m sure sorry you’re having to go through all of that clean up again. When I get a squonk, I’m hitting you up in pm’s!

Enjoyed a nice couple of days and nights without having the ac running, but we're headed back up into the upper 80s today. Got some rock spread on the other side of the back steps yesterday, but didn't cut in the landscape timber in that spot since I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do with that south side of the house where it meets up to the back yard. This granite is a beech to move since the rock size is a bit too big to make it shovel-able! I've been wearing gloves and filling a bucket by hand, then carrying it to it's destination. Like Tracy said to Dee....slow and steady!

Hate to hear you still have so much work to do, Dee. Rest when you need to, and listen to your body!
