Just back from a sheet rock finishing trip...little grass cutting thrown in for good measure....Everything would've been great other than I forgot my BP meds....Resting BP upon return home was 139~92 so not horrible...Memory foam topper on my bed has my upper back jacked up.....I keep trying to like it but it's whooping my buttocks...to grippy for lack of a better term....I usually sleep in the room that's under construction and have a mattress standing against the wall but that's a pain and sleeping dead on the floor makes it tough getting up...For sure I'm through with the memory foam though....2 coats of mud on the walls and so far all is good....I promised myself nice thin coats with little sanding and so far.......they're thin!!! Couple more coats and all will be ready for primer....Gotta rip down some 1/4 plywood to trim around a window....There are no paint brushes in a mobile home factory and the area needing trim had printed face paneling glued and screwed to it....Gotta trim out the window after that and probably just gonna use 1X4 for that....Never ends....it never ends...

Cuzzo has become a hemp farmer....I've been approached about working on his farm....He's waiting to hear back on a contract he's been offered....It's close by and I'll be able to help Mom quickly if needed....The money has yet to be discussed though and that's definitely a deciding factor......

Please take care of yourself in this heat, Dee. I don't know about you, but we're hot as hell here. The hemp farming might be an interesting gig if Cuzzo makes the money right for you.

Huge Congrats to Tracy's daughter Lauren, graduating with her Master's Degree!! What an accomplishment

Yes I can see you working that hemp farm ElDee! Right on!!!

Thank you Bov! I don’t know what I did to deserve such great kids, but I’m so thankful. Yesterday was her graduation and our last one for...well, we still have to see what the little one decides to do. It’s either our last one forever, or for quite a few years yet!

It’s been a whirlwind of events lately and I’m exhausted!! New roof is on and the final gutter (which was definitely the big issue for the mold in my closets exterior wall) will be attached tomorrow. The ripping apart and replacing the affected wall will have to wait a bit longer as we are tapped out!
I am looking forward to relaxing at home this whole weekend and putting up the pool.
If I was a drinker, today would’ve been a fish bowl to the face kind of day! Exhausted and tapping out.

I stayed in the shade today....Pretty comfortable actually but I much prefer it hot....I've only ran the AC a few times this year.....Cold is another story....Last week I turned off the pilot light in my wall heater.....I lit that beech back up a couple nights later when it got down to 51**.....

Assembled all the boat cleaning supplies the last couple weeks....Stuff here and at the beach....So far I've washed on the boat three times and it's still nasty as Hades....It's better though and I'll keep at it until it looks El Dee spec....Then it's El Dee's Boats-R-Us.....I'm needing a good buyer.....

The hemp farm may come through may not....I prepared a few cuttings for Cuzzo yesterday after watching him goober a few....

Thinking my new gig may be small engine mechanic....I got another lawnmower coming in for a full service tomorrow.....Dude saw my post last week on the FB....money is money

So glad to hear you like it hot,Dee:) You live in the right place:lol: Small engine repair would be much lighter duty than full size vehicles. Excellent idea!! I hope it works out for you.

Gutter didn’t happen today and no call. It really grinds my gears when that happens! I’m paying separate for that so, good! Have half a mind to call someone else to do it. It’s been like this since it started. A one and a half days job turned into a week. Ain’t nobody got time for that.
Boy am I getting cranky lately, or what?!?! Lol

My neighbor does gutters for a living....I've needed his services post hurricane....Siding and everything needed was repaired by me as usual...6 months later I got gutters.....

Got a lawnmower that's gonna need a carburetor in the shop....needing to check my regular Car Quest in hopes of getting it and then likely the local small engine shop where it will cost 3X....needing a sheet of 1/4 plywood sanded on one side....then I gotta pull out the table saw and rip some strips off of the sheet for trimming inside 2 windows at the beach...the manufacture used paneling ripped into trim.....stapled and glued....Topping that with another mower job at 2pm and I need to make my tractor payment as well....Best get to moving....

Just in and petting Spike...Never did get that sheet of plywood....both mowers fixed...re-built the carburetor on the first and it worked beautifully on the bench...wouldn't stop the fuel flow on the mower though....technically the seat where the needle shuts off the fuel flow was corroded past cleaning....it's brass pressed into aluminum and non-serviceable....there's a new carburetor on there now.....Tomorrow I gotta see the cardiologist at 1:30 and hopefully grab that sheet of plywood on the return trip.....I'm beat....

Hey All... Sorry I've been away so long, here and FB. It was 3 weeks yesterday since my procedure. I have been back to the PA twice to to change meds and calm me down. The PA is soft spoken and doesn't say much. When we were leaving last Thursday, Mrs Wharf says "Can you tell Nick he's NOT dying!!!"
Cecil, the PA, turns to me and says " Why would you think that? The stents were perfectly placed and you are considered Low Risk."

Today I started a 12 wk, 36 sessions at the hospital's Cardiac Rehab. Hopefully in 3 months heart and health will be better and I have a meeting next week with their nutritionist.
