I feel pretty lucky it missed us for the most part. I saw that Ct got slammed pretty hard, too.

Between weather and lumber delivery issues for my deck builder, I'm still waiting for work to get started. His wife is keeping me updated and I assured her I understand it's not their fault.

We got through the hurricane safely....Winds were around 100mph at the beach house...My new window held...No water intrusion found inside the house....Limbs on top of limbs though....I went down and checked things out and cut the grass after picking up the limbs....Over 1/2 the property is covered with pine trees...No grass under the pines but a nice bed of straw....I spray round up on it when the weeds get started...All the straw is still covered with limbs....Sis and family went the day after I did....Hoping they got at least some of the limbs up....There was also a nice pile of limbs here at home...Winds were @ 40 here by my estimation....I stayed up until exhaustion set in....If that hurricane had came 20 miles farther north before landfall I probably wouldn't be so lucky...I saw plenty of places on the trip down where the bands must have been really bad...

Cuzzo and I have all but finished the doors at that lake house....Trust slow payment has been the issue and there's no work first then get paid at all....We would have a knot in it but my estimate of 6 tubes of caulk was short one and 1/4 door....Pella goofed three times on the handles...4 if you include the OG shipment with the doors....We're still short one inside white handle....The kitchen counter at the lake has a dang good selection of inside stainless handles....We're waiting on an overnight shipment now....

As you know I began smoking again....Backwoods cigars....Foolish beyond belief....I'm looking at a Yihi SX Mini 21700....What tanks do you guys recommend....I was using a Smokey Big Baby Beast and I saw those but they have lights in the tank now....Not real crazy about and lights when I hit the trigger...

For standard tanks (drop in coils), I like the Vaporesso NRG family and the hellvape hellbeast, running Vaporesso gt ccell (0.5 ohm) and gt ccell 2 (0.3 ohm) coils. I built up a stash of the Vaporesso tanks by buying really good price kits from eightvape & other shops. They're wide compatibility coils - any baby beast compatible tank will hold them; very good flavor and decent longevity.

Dee, I'm glad you made it thru the storms with no real property damage.

As for tank suggestions, I haven't tried anything new lately. Still chugging along with my Reload rta clones. When I find something I like, I tend to stick with it until I can no longer get parts. These being rebuildables with simple dual coil decks, I will probably stick with them for a good while.

With the new deck going in as soon as my deck guy's supplier gets him some good posts (he refused delivery on some last week for being crappy) and now having to have a termite control guy coming out...my vape play money is tight. I noticed a mud tube on my shed about a month ago, so I knocked it down to see if it was active and got rebuilt. Nothing for a couple of weeks, until yesterday I noticed 5 or 6 new tubes and some damaged siding. Poked a screwdriver into the damaged wood and those little bass turds were everywhere! Termite guy estimated about 5 Benjamin's to treat house and property. Termites are not a cootie I want to gamble with trying to DIY treat...especially after seeing how quickly they are eating my shed :-x

I think I may just sleep for the rest of 2020!!

Mom had the termites and I had them treated....Everything went fine...Next year we get a bill for termite re-inspection....$200 and some change....I called the pest control and asked if the technician had checked under the house where the termites were...She called back and insured me he had....That's when I told her about the lock on the only access door and I was the sole key holder....Past that there was a little cuss fest and needless to say I haven't heard back from them....

Right now I'm in a bind with those cigars....@120 per week....Yeah....That's not the problem though....My lungs aren't liking it one little bit....Hey I backslid....I'm an addict....To remedy this situation I'm leaning towards an Odin Mini 21700 DNA chip....Gonna top it with a Hellbeast tank from Hellvape....Hellbeast coils and gonna try the other coils that aren't Smok....I forget the brand but the Beast will use 4 different coils if you include the Nautilus....Gonna just go with the store bought juice to kick those cigars...Hey I don't think I can get to the cost level of those cigars per week on store bought....

I hear ya on the cost of going back to smoking, Dee. Health as well as money. I still get cravings for a Marlboro Light now and then but so far have not given in to it. When I was still in Ct around the ex, I would take a drag here and there off his. Haven't had a single puff since moving here Jan 2018. Funny part for me is that I know it's not nicotine I'm craving since I've been down to only 1mg for years. I know you can do it, I just wish the Asmodus or Vandyvape squonker still worked so I could send them back to you.

Good for you on catching your Mom's termite company in their lie. Gives me something else to discuss with the one coming to treat mine next Tuesday. I purposely chose a local place with good reviews rather than going with Terminix. We'll see how it goes.

Fran, yep it's always gonna be something. I'm still over the moon grateful to have my little place...I was just feeling beechy last night  The deck is a splurge, the termite control is a must!

The hellbeast takes any of the many baby beast format coils, including the Vaporesso gt ccell types I mentioned. There's probably at least a dozen coil families that will fit it (I did a bunch of testing on the stocking up thread last year, including links to spreadsheets which capture the compatible heads). I've got multiple hellbeast, Vaporesso nrg variants and other tanks, can use the same coils in any of them.

There's a new mod from Aspire, the MIXX, that looks pretty nice. Around $53 overseas. Single 18650, side-by-side configuration, 60W max (fine for me). I really tend toward squonking, but am chewing on getting one for when I want to run tanks. Excellent review by djlsb.

Our 13 yo +/- furball Sidney (my avatar on ECF) is still hanging in there, though not so well. Between not walking in 10 weeks (he'll likely never be able to again - too much muscle deterioration), multiple extended bouts of la tourista, and issues with skin infections, how long he'll be with us is up in the air. We've tried working with him on standing and walking with assist, but everything combines together so that right now we can't do that. He loves being pulled around in a garden cart out back, and when we were at camp last week I towed him in a cart behind the lawn tractor [emoji3] DW is bearing the brunt of most of his care, since I work full time even though from home, and it's pretty much a 7x24 kind of thing. Shrug...

On the plus side, Little Bear and Maggie, our sibling Aussies, will be 5 tomorrow, and are in excellent health. A huge plus is that Bear can finally handle riding in a car without getting car sick[emoji106]

Sidney joined Heidi, Homer, and Jasmine at the prime rib tree at 4pm. 24 hrs from when he rejected food and water until the end, but no pain as far as we could tell.
    So sorry, Mark :(

    ***RIP Sidney***

About ten years back I saw a dog breeder get busted on the news...double wide trailer....cages stacked to the ceiling with aisles to walk between them....hundreds of dogs....so many dogs the local shelters were over run and some dogs were brought to the NCSU School of Veterinary Medicine....My Sis got a Yorkie Poo {Riley} there....Riley quickly became my Niece's dog and never left her shadow....Dang old breeder had added sawdust to the food....swells up in their belly and makes them feel full for extended periods...Riley lost all his teeth due to that and developed intestinal disorders as well....A special easily digestible diet....make sure he doesn't try and get Spike's food....On and on....I'd sneak Riley little tidbits of meat after I'd cut them to dust with my pocketknife....3 weeks back the intestinal disorder sent him early to the Rainbow Bridge....About three days ago my Niece used her HS Grad money and purchased a Mini Schnauzer....pretty sure that isn't the correct spelling and the checker isn't helping....So we got a new pup but lost Riley....Trust me if I ever run up on that breeder it ain't gonna end well....

Last night we got 6.97 inches of rain....Most within two hours....All my creek work held....I did spend the afternoon shoveling the gravel back onto my driveway though...A usual 4 foot wide creek was @ 60 feet wide last night....Another creek enters mine about 1/4 mile downstream...It washed the road by my house where it goes under...The DMV had signs and cones shutting down one lane...I hear there are several roads in the area washed out....

Dang back to back posts.....Ya'll gotta tighten up !!!!

I pulled the trigger on an Odin Mini 21700, Hellbeast tank with HB and Vaperesso coils. I saw good reviews on the Geekvape Zeus tank so I got one of those.... .2 and .5 coils with the Zeus...For juice I went with Jam Monster due to the 100ml being 15 bucks and I need some immediately....I'm going at 6mg to start...Those Backwoods are taking a heavy toll....they gotta stay in the store where they belong....
