I, like many others fell for the marketing of the BluCigs. I bought the kit and after a month got the package and really enjoyed it for a few days. After that I started having problems. One atty died and the it I started going through 2-3 carts a day. It always seemed to have a great hit on the first drag of the cart but it did not last very long. I searched the internet to see what was going on and found that I made a bad choice in getting the BluCig kit. I have since purchased a 510 kit from nhaler.com and am very happy with my choice.

I have going through ECF to see what other people are doing with their ecigs. I dont want to be out of the loop again like I was when I bought the BluCig kit. I have found some really interesting things especially in the cart mod section.

I have tried the straw mod and even made some changes myself. I have used a very small wire casing from one of the 8 wires found in network (cat5) cable. This seemed to work well in topping off my carts without removing any batting. I have also have been cutting my carts in half, far enough that I can see the two air vents of the cart, and now i can fit 3 attys with the carts in my PCC.

Most recently I have been trying to figure out how to use as much of the juice in the cart as possible. After vaping for a little while, as many others have found, my batting in the cart is dry on the top and still wet on the bottom. What I would end up doing is removing all the batting and turning it upside down and replacing it to get the rest of the juice. If only there was an easier way, I thought.

This was my thought;
cut a few inches off my network cable
remove the wires from inside
cut the casing to fit inside a 510 cart (slightly sticking out)
cut a 45 degree angle on each end (opposite side of the tube)
fill with batting
then fill with juice.

So I did it
the only problem was I did not have any spare batting
I have just topped off every cart I had.
Then I remembered that I had a pack of used BluCig carts. I removed the batting from 2 of the carts and stuffed it into my little tube.
both Blu carts still had some juice in it so after stuffing the tube it actually started working right away.

Now I remembered that I did like the taste of the BluCigs and am now reminded of them. My regret now is that i sent back weeks worth of unused juice that I could have used in my tube-insert cart mod.

The benefits of this mod is the fact that I can easily remove the whole tube when the top is dry, turn it around and easily put it back in to use the bottom. I can also squeeze it to get the juice to move to one of the ends and continue vaping.

By cutting the 45 degree angles on either side of the tube the mouth on each end is big enough not to disturb the attys bridge and it also makes it easy to remove. because there is a cut on each end, on opposite sides of the tube, it angles when you put it in but you can pull it out easily by moving it to the side making it a little taller than the cart.

Im having fun. thanks for all the information here. hope this helps someone. Let me know if you have any questions.

I dont have my blus anymore but I still have one of the carts. They are so small and do not hold much as it is. I have been just testing out a new Loose PTB Plug.
What I am using as a plug for my 510 cart fits in a Blu Cig cart. Will it work? I dont know, it should. I did not put any liquid in it but it should hold well.

Here is a link to how I made it for the 510 cart.
