Something similar happened to me a number of years ago with my Citi credit card although it had nothing to do with ecigs. At the time I was living In Dallas and was working on a project in Mexico City. I took the client out to lunch one day and that night made an online purchase from my hotel room with a company in Chicago. Citi blocked the transaction. When I got back home I called Citi. I told them I travel out of the country for work and am home for only one week a month. Because of this I don’t have time to shop when I am home so it is possible they will see charges made in the states as well as in the country I am working and they should not be blocking my purchases. They told me to call them when I get ready to travel and they will add a flag to my account with the pertinent information. I also mentioned to them if they suspected some type of fraud if they would please post it in my account as it was easier for me to check my online account. After that I never had an issue.

pwheeler ... Thanks for the info, but if MFS now needs a copy of my US driver's license, I guess I will go elswhere for ordering some 60mg Nic unflavored PG.

I just wish there website would say that they don't believe I am a certain age and then tell me how I can prove my actual age .... not just deny my Visa credit card transaction .... again, this certainly is [not] the first time I have ordered from them.

BTW .... I am 68 years old

oh well .....
Well ... I will now try one more time to order some unflavored PG nicotine base from MFS.

I will let you know in a few minutes how it turns out using my Visa card.

Email or call them... They're super easy to deal with!

I guarantee you it's being flagged as possible credit card fraud.

I recently took my daughter to A-Kon here in Dallas. It's a big anime convention that she loves to go to every year. While I was there I started to buy some nick-nacks for her at the vendors using my credit card. The third purchase was denied and I was unable to use the card at all after that until I called the bank about it. Many of the vendors travel from one show to the next and are rarely in the state they operate from. From the bank's point of view I made a purchase in Texas, then 10 minutes later made a purchase in Alabama, and then half an hour later tried to make a purchase in Wisconsin. They flagged the card as possible fraud because of the radically different purchase locations.

I'm certain your problem is similar. You used the card in the Philippines and told them that's where you would be, but you then tried to make a purchase in the US for an item that is shipped to a US address. To a bank that looks like fraud. Especially if you had used your card in the Philippines just a few hours before.

My daughter has nothing to do with any of this. She is just staying in my house while I am out of the country. She has no passwords or nothing of mine.

All I was trying to do was order some unflavored PG Nic base from MFS to be delivered to my house in Florida.

What difference does it make whether or not I am ordering this stuff from a compter in my den in the US, or a computer sitting in my hotel room in the Philippines?

Lets be realistic here !
Ordering from out of country AND wanting it delivered to an address different from the billing address?
LOL THAT is the problem and it IS the credit card company fighting suspected fraud on your card.

Last March i placed an order with fasttech & received the same PA error.
Called B of A,, they never heard of that message or the error code(can't remember the number).
Was kicked to security, no hold, no suspected fraud, no charge from Fasttech.
Went back to Fasttech, same thing,, they would take PayPal,,tagged to the Same card!
Ordered liter of nico from MFS last Friday, went through with no Inquisition..

Something is real wrong here ... I make my own DYI juice, and have always ordered my unflavored PG nicotine base liquid from My Freedom Smokes (MFS).

I always use the same Visa credit card. My shipping address and my credit card billing address are the same, as it has always been.

But this time, my credit card was denied and I could not proceed with the internet purchase.

What the hell is going on with these internet e-cig suppliers?

Thank you for supporting the people of the Philippines! They are very poor. Love Americans. Could not help better people.

I don't believe that at all.

In fact, I advised USAA that I would be in the Philippines for the next 6 months and please don't lock my purchases while I am out of the country (USA).

There is something else going on here.

And BTW ... my USAA / Visa card has a $22,000 credit limit !
$22,000..........heyyyyyyy there! Let's be friends!!! :sneaky:

I placed an order yesterday, and encountered their new age verification software. The account name, shipping info, and credit card info all have to match for the order to go through. The credit card is in my husband's name. But when I fixed all the info the order went through. Then I sent them an email explaining what happened, just in case. My order shipped today.

Well, just an update ...

I called my credit card bank today (USAA) and asked them why they denied this purchase I tried to make from MFS.

They told me that they never denied anything, and never got a request for CC payment from MFS.

So, something is screwed up with the MFS website and [not] my Visa card or USAA bank that issued me the card.

And, by the way, my CC billing address and my shipping address are the same ... and I have ordered from MFS before with no problem.

Not only do they have that info but they also have your IP address every time you are on their site or make a purchase. Have you ever ordered from out of the country with them before? A different IP, from outside of the country, could have triggered their fraud alert which denied the purchase.

Glad you updated and your cc is fine. I was afraid you cc info got swiped since there seems to be a lot of people reporting incidents of this here. Happy shopping!

Well, I am not going to try ordering from MFS anymore. There are many other vendors selling unflavored PG Nic base.

I guess I could try calling MFS on the phone and ask them why they won't accept my order, but I don't want to pay for the international phone call from the Philippines to the US.

Again, it was [not] my CC company that denied the transaction ... it was the MFS website.

There's a "contact us" on their site. You don't need to phone them.
