Hello all,

I'm new to all of this, found this forum is FULL of useful information. I am awaiting my 1st ever e-cig to arrive (should have it by this weekend). My fiancee and I are ready to give up analogs and get away from all the crap we've been inhaling for many, many years.

Welcome Southern-Vapor. Which e-cig did you order? Please keep in mind that sometimes there is a bit of a learning curve. If you are having problems using it/feel satisfied with it, please don't hesitate to ask questions here, in your merchant's forum (assuming they are on e-cig), or in the main forum. Folks here are very helpful and have been through it already. I had a great experience my first time out but not everyone does so ask for help if you need it.

I ordered the VK ultimate ultimatum kit from vapor4life. They are on this forum and have spent alot of time on their posts before and after ordering. Hopefully, should receive kit tomorrow.

Thanks, I have noticed that everyone in these forums, so far, have been very helpful and friendly.

I'm constantly reading and learning something new each day. We're definitely looking forward to kicking the analog habit.

I think what you've ordered is the same as the KR808. I have that and I'm very happy. I really do like the carts, they seem to last longer and not so much fooling around. I surprised how easy it was to get off the analogs.

Yeah, I believe it is a 808 something-or-other. I liked the two piece design and the ease of refilling. Plenty of flavors and strengths to choose from too. I'll be glad to be rid of these cough causing analogs for good.

But, as you know, the V4L sub-forum is extremely active and there are a lot of helpful folks there too. I'm so excited for you to get your kit and to hear how things go for you. Yeah, calla, that's the one. Thanks for the offer of help, if/when needed. As a complete newb, it'll be a learning experience to say the least. I'm sure I'll have plenty of questions, especially when it comes to refilling with juice.

Calla 2 - I do have a Prodigy V2 in the USPS (somewhere). I must say though, yesterday and today the 808 was doing such a good job that I think I may have been premature in ordering a mod. We'll see, really the only time I need the "big hit" is in the am with the espresso!

Does anyone else notice that the internet is a little crazy today? Different servers and same funky problems.

Seems normal to me, but then again, I'm used to losing my connection every once in awhile. The only thing available here is wireless (which I'm on the borderline of not getting), and before that I had to tether my cell phone to pc. Can't wait till DSL is out this way.

Congrats SV. I've been at it for two weeks now and so far, so good. I already feel a lot better, the yellow stains on my teeth are starting to fade, I have better stamina, and my senses of smell and taste are beginning to come back. Trying to convert people left and right. No definate takers yet, but most say they'll check it out.

Just remember, if you're not thrilled with your first model, try and try again. Everyone's different. I have a two-piece model not unlike the KR808D and I'm not exactly thrilled with it. Even so, I've found that this wonderful thing called vaping is definately for me. I've already got a 510 setup (2 PTs, 10 attys, 8 batts, 50 carts) and a mod (Juice Box!!!) on the way and a small mountain of juice to squirrel away just in case the FDA decides it wants a piece of the pie (EDIT: or the whole pie for itself). Ok, so I mighta gone a little overboard, but I'm worth it, right? I may use some of the 510s to try to get my brother and friends to make the switch... there's an idea!

I agree. I love my Vapor King but if I had money to burn right now I'd definitely splurge on a mod. The only thing saving me is that I haven't done enough research to know which are the best ones and which would suit me the best. LOL.

BTW, I'm not having any internet connection problems today.

Calla2 - I should have waited a little longer. I already feel like I'm needing the 808 and 510 less and less, what the heck will I do with the V2???

Internet is strange, I have a different server at work and one at home, they are both acting up. Just curious if it had anything to do with the google bow up yesterday.

Southern Vaporer - The more folks you can get in your circle of "Vape Heads" the easier it'll be and the more fun you'll have. I just can't believe that after forthy years of smoking I'm just walking away in a very calm fashion. Who knew!

BeingBekah - So many wonderful things are starting to happen. I don;t clear my throught for the first hour I'm awake. My husband says my snoring has gone way down, no weight gain, I smell better, my teeth are whiter, my breath is better, my cloths smell better as does my house and car. The really wonderful thing is I can just walk around a corner from clients (they'll be checking out the master bath, and I walk over to th kitchen and have a few mvapes. No ones the wiser and I don't have to go for 6 hours without a drag, I can stealth vape almost anywhere. What a wonderful world!

I'm a Georgia gal who loves to vape! I have been smokefree for 90 days today! I smoked over 30years and was up to 2 1/2 packs a day! I feel great, I can smell and taste things again and feel sooo much better. I use the 510 and the 801... Love ry4 & Rum. I have a few friends who vape ( converted 5 of them myself! LOL ) and we get together and place larger orders together and ask for discount as we buy like 20 batteries etc. together. Saves us a bit.

I'm thinking of getting the Janty EGO which is new and has some GREAT reviews... Smaller, 510 like, with batteries that last about 10 hours... Anyone know about it? I am spending way tooo much for batteries and don't like to change them out all the time... Yes it does have an $84.95 pricetag but it might save me in the long run!

I've been PV'ing for about a year now been six months+ with the J-stick have a Prod v1 but it didn't last long. Really want the EGO but been weighing marriage..EGO, marriage....EGO LOL suppose if I really really wanted it I could get it (maybe Ill wait till after we pay of the holidays!)
