I have to say that this situation is 'fluid' at the moment. We needed to add the buttons but they may not be optimal just yet.
We'll revisit it later on to see what the score is. Some time living with it is generally the best way to figure out better options. For now, it is what it is - we have a ton of other projects for our tech guys to work on - sorry
Can I state here that I find the suggestion that your web browsing has slowed as a result of our buttons to be a little difficult to absorb. I'd start by deleting all cookies and cache, rebooting using a soft reset* not just a power-down, and seeing if that helped. Also get CCleaner and delete any Flash cookies (deep cookies placed in the computer, not the browser, by some sites).
* How to do a soft reset:
1. PC
Power down the PC.
Go to your router and remove the power cord.
Wait 10 seconds, then replace the router power cord.
Remove power plug from back of PC.
Hit the On button on the front 3 times.
Replace the power plug.
Boot up (it will probably do that automatically).
2. Laptop
Power down the laptop.
Go to your router and remove the power cord.
Wait 10 seconds then replace the router power cord.
Remove laptop PSU power cord.
Remove laptop battery pack. (This step is important.)
Hit the On button 3 times.
Replace battery pack and power cord.
Boot up.
This soft reset of the computer, plus the soft reset of the router, fixes some problems that are otherwise impossible to resolve. (A hard reset means scrubbing all the input parameters, which you don't want to do.)
