I would say it's more like pandering to the uneducated voting base.

6 or 1/2 Dozen.

I think Policy Makers are just Providing a Solution ( by Banning Flavors ) to a Problem that Doesn't Exist.

And the Solution they are Providing does even work.

The problem is that the "Uneducated voting base" has us outnumbered. When you factor in the shameless manipulation by the "Monied interests" we face some pretty long odds

Precisely why I went to strictly rebuildables, learned to make ejuice, and have 10 yrs' worth of nicotine in my freezer. Think 10 yrs is enough?

None of this has to do with Children.

It has to do with Policy Makers setting at ease the Minds of a Largely Uneducated Voting Base.
How could they be uneducated? The federal government has provided us with a Department of Education.

That's my plan as well.

Whether a 10 year supply enough or not all depends on how long your planning on living.

I'm thinking more in terms of the lawsuits that will surely be provoked by doing something draconian to nicotine access. If nicotine is safe enough to be OTC for BP NRT, then it's safe enough for our use, too, and I don't even care whether it's because NRT is a BP product -- it's OTC, which means anyone can buy all they want at any time. Unless they plan to go back to all NRT being by prescription only -- which would surely discountenance their buds at BP -- then reclassifying liquid nicotine as non-OTC will DEFINITELY provoke lawsuits.

Lawsuits based on that theory would not work.

Having a fuzzy recollection that that you're a year or two younger than I am (I was born in 1959), NO, it's not enough.

Correct, I was born in '61. So I guess I do need to order more. Sheesh, just when I thought I was safe!

ETA: Ok, another 120ml ordered. Probably the last before I need to get more 30ml bottles.

LOL -- 120ml is only a half a cup.

I did my calculations -- I use approx 72ml of 100mg nic per year -- so each 120ml bottle I order is roughly a year and a half of nicotine for me. By my calculations, my current stash is at least 10 yrs' worth, maybe closer to 11; so the new bottle puts me up to close to 12 yrs' of nicotine.

Vaping 5mg is really a cost-effective way to vape!

Forgive me for going OT, but I'm new to DIY. How come you're not stashing larger bottles? And please tell me what you think of my plan to get multiple 500 ml bottles from Nude Nicotine Armor--glass bottles, argon gas and luer-lock adapters.

I freezer-stash 30ml bottles just because I use so little, and make so little at any one time, and I don't want an opened bottle to be opened over and over and over and over... by using out of 30ml bottles, it's used up before it has much of a chance to oxidize and degrade. But i still keep my opened bottles in the fridge, just to keep them from light most of the time, and it keeps it out of my way, in one of the shelves in my fridge's door.

It's also easier for me to stash smaller bottles; the boxes that a dozen 30ml bottles are shipped in, fit perfectly in the bottom of my freezer, and I stack them, with the boxes numbered so I know which is the oldest.

If you make large quantities of juice at a time, and use a high mg level, then sure, half liter bottles are probably fine, provided you have sufficient space to stash bottles that large in your freezer. Personally, I think the argon gas may be overkill, but whatever floats your boat. :D I don't worry about luer-lock caps, just because I stash such small bottles. Two different ways of preventing excessive oxidation in a bottle that's being used-out-of.

I buy such small bottles because I don't have a great deal of disposable income at any one time; the VapersTek TH nicotine is the best price I've seen on small bottles, $10, and that's an easy amount for me to come up with, nearly anytime. That way I also don't have to buy too many 30ml bottles too often. My stash is incremental, starting in the summer of 2014, to the present.

I go through a lotta nic (around 1 ml of 100mg base a day) and I also think that 500ml bottles are too big for long-term storage for the same reason that Andria does -- I don't want to have a partially full bottle of 100mg around, giving the 100mg an excuse to oxidize. So I get my nic in 120ml bottles glass bottles that go straight into the freezer. When I pull one out, I mix it the whole thing down to 15 mg, re-bottle it in 120 ml bottles, only one of which is open at a time..

I'm making a New Year's resolution to start mixing my own DIY juices in 2016 ...

Last year I plugged a major leak in my retirement budget when I stopped buying bottled Starbucks Frappuccinos and began making my own, cut the cost by more than 90 percent, and the homemade drinks taste better to me ...

I only vape three favorite menthol juices now, shouldn't be beyond my meager kitchen skills to replicate them, with the huge volume of DIY data here on ECF ...

With advancing Parkinsons symptoms, DIY might be a bit of a challenge, but my neurologist in Mexico has prescribed a very effective medication that suppresses tremors effectively throughout most of the day ...

As Jack Reacher says, "Hope for the best, plan for the worst" ... :D
