I just got into the habit of trying to keep everything clean and neat around me while I am cooking. I like to have clean counterspace to work on whenever and not have to stop and clean it

Will have to look that one up. Halibut is my favorite followed by Red Snapper but the snapper is a fish that always seems to smell off even when fresh caught. The seafood is one of the things I really miss about Alaska

It is still pretty rare. The only place I know to get it is at Whole Foods and only sometimes do they have it. But it is worth hunting down.

I'm doing the shrimp, but I wanna grill it, but the weather is threatening. And I have some fries and shrimp dumplings. I gotta work some bacon in somewhere.

And I need to get a Striped Bass.

Haven't decided supper here yet... I am letting the kid cook for me this evening. He is a really good cook but dirties more stuff in the kitchen than anyone I know

Think we're having red beans and rice for dinner here...yum! My bf does all the cooking, so yay!

Oh this I totally agree on, I thought you meant every pot, pan and spoon in the place, being made dirty for a simple dish.

Halibut is good fish, actually I dont think there is a fish I dont like.

Cant wait to get out on the lake for some trout, big ones, got a 27" rainbow last year, the meat was so pink, she was delish.

Striped Bass is amazing, flesh similar to lobster, not fishy at all. But it is expensive, but they are running soon in the Hudson.

well for that i blame the "craze" of the last 20 years Buffalo Wings.

Seriously as soon as they figure out how to breed a 6 winged chicken, 4 breasted, 1 legged chicken... the price of chicken will come down.


...and it wont have anything to do with the fact no one wants to eat some gene altered alien looking thing.
