The order has been placed, the handshake has done been handshook! . . . .. . . . .. (handshooked? . .. . handshaked? . . . handshooken?)
For the Nuppin' Atties, I mean.
There will be SS, there will be Copper AFC, Brass AFC . . . .. . . . BLACK AFC!! (annodized Aluminum black)
There will be Full Brass Topcaps, there will be Full Black Topcaps!
(unless something comes up . . .. but that's the order, and this great 'merican machine shop says they're good to go with all those crazy deets and options. very good people there. a real pleasure to do business with.)
I basically built the order based on the proportions indicated by the "interest gauge"/"questionnaire" (even down to a handful of solid centerposts for going from BF to dripper version.) So, thank you all very-supermuch, who participated in that. Your labors are bearing fruit.
As to quantities.I couldn't quite meet the quantities indicated in the questionnaire. I got ding-dang close; but, honestly, I just couldn't muster sufficient funding to satisfy the indicated number "requested". It'll all work out tho, just you wait and see.
Timing/Scheduling. So, the order is "placed", I'm given to understand that materials will be ordered Monday, and we're on the schedule. I'm told it'll be about 6 weeks til completion. I'm hoping that shipping and my own distribution prep won't take more than a week. In any case, that's a rough timeline, just to give y'all a sense of what to plan for. I could easily be a week off, I'm just guessing here. As things move along, I'll provide some progress reports and hone the guesstimate on time-stuff as best as I can.
Oh, and just btw: we are of a mind to fabricate the new parts/accessories so as to fit the previous run parts. So, AFC sleeves and new topcaps should marry well with existing Nuppin'. That's our aim, and the fabricator has taken it to heart.

the quantities of the run he posted are unlikely to be increased, but there will be dropouts
and, i'm just guessing "the list" will be first come/ first offered, but it makes sense
Those who did the survey should get the first opportunity to buy what they signed up for.
i think when the survey was set up, pdib said he would email or PM [which ever was specified in the survey] to say they are ready, but don't think it offered any further leg ups to signerers?

Now I don't know the details of what he paid, but I'm assuming it's quite a few thousand dollars. I'm sure he would have loved to double the order, but in a way it's like gambling. You are putting your money down and basically hoping that you will get it back and more, but you also have a chance of having the money taken away and getting nothing (except for a bunch of atomizers he can't sell) in return. I don't think that would happen in the case of the nuppin', but smart people don't just throw everything down on black 13. They calculate the odds, and do some hedging so even if they do "lose" they don't lose much or brake even. Pdib seems like one of them smart ones. (Smart-ahyas, Smart aleck, Smarty pants and a Smart cookie to name a few)

Hey Nuppin' users! I supose it's the right place to share Nuppin' builds...
I'm trying a "mech and coton" idea thanks to Nuppin's easy way to coil. I made a micro coil of 0.42mm kanthal and put a little peice of rolled #200 mech inside.
The mech must be as short as it fits in the chamber and does'nt touch the bottom of the base and the top of the cap.
The capilarity works thanks to a cotton nest at the bottom where the mesh gently stays.
This build is 0.9ohms but as you can see, gives a lot of vapor. The hit is good too but I have little doubts about the quality of the flavour...
Maybe simple warps on the mesh and 0.30mm kanthal would be better... Just make the test if you want and tell me!

The Nuppin is sweet, even though it's relatively small you've got plenty of room to be creative because there are no negative posts in the way.

If you torch the mesh before rolling it, you won't get any shorts and can have a tail coming down to the deck. Honestly, if I had to lay a bed of cotton on the deck I wouldnt use mesh. Defeats the purpose for me. I'll get pics of my build when I get home to show my Nuppimeshkin build!
Nuppin' workforce includes the new Copper Vein (my Reo#10) that came a few days ago. They're running 3 of my ADV's that I vape 24/7... Silver Vein/Chai Latte; TRA-TRB/Wormwood; Copper Vein/KKKoffee.
I was never into authentics Til my Reo just got ahold of a used nuppin and the excitement begins!
