Michael - do I spy a rotated centerpost in your Nuppin build ? Helps a bunch don't it. Rossum, while making fun of one of my builds enlightened me to it and it definitely helps reduce the positive leg length :)

I finally got around to building this one so Winston would leave my pimped grands alone :)

No rotated post in mine. Still original... Still easy to build...

You all are missing out on one of my favorite parts of the nuppin when u rotate the post. In the stock position your wick tail lays against your positive leg keeping it wet reducing the chance of a hot leg. My 2c
Huh....? Pictorial explanation please
I'll probably break it, but I still wanna know what you guys are talking about?

I wick mine ala super dudes infinity scarf/wick. Wick is always wet.

You guys are making it sound like leaving the Nuppin's pin in the stock position is some awesome rite of passge. LOL

The rotating pin is part of what makes the Nuppin' extremely versatile in coil placement AND coil size. 4 wraps? just make the post hole closer to the negative. 12 wraps of Ni200? spin it a bit and get it further away from the negative.

The attitude of many here in REOville is amazing for sure. My ignore list is piling up...thankful I discovered it exists.

You, however, are a true rockstar my friend. Thanks for the post.

Hmmmm.... I always thought of the 'Ville as a happy, warm, friendly place where everyone helped each other, advised each other, gave tips to each other, admired and congratulated each other showing off there prized newly acquired REOs, shared experiences, and celebrated having the best MODS available. Lately it seems that if you have an attitude or opinion that is not shared by all that you may get put on an "ignore list"? Now I feel that I need to be overly careful of what to say. I think I'm just going to just read the comments and simply hit "like" and no longer offer input.
Maybe I'm being too sensitive or reading too much into comments.
Going home now to sit down with a warm cup of coffee, my REO, and my dog that loves me unconditionally! :)

Rudy, first of all, I'd like to apologize if I come across as an ....... I admit, not having a good day bro. Second, don't for any reason hold back from ever posting what you want to say, here or anywhere else in life in general. When it boils down to it - who cares if someone puts you on an ignore list? (you're certainly not on mine, fyi) be yourself. Take what you see as positive in this community and push forth more of those positive aspects; make it better. I'll try to do better at just that as well my friend.

I do see it in a different light, ECF and Reoville in particular. I've rediscovered why I left ECF long ago. I don't regret coming back but I'm disappointed in the forums. I'll probably leave Reoville for the most part, and hang on a couple other sub forums from now on. The reason is that while I do believe most people here have at the core of their intent a true desire to help people, they often come across as total a-holes. Not just to me, to others as well. I constantly, constantly see comments that are seemingly aimed at belittling the way others do things. "If you do anything differently than I, you're wrong, or weird, or dumb, or crazy," is my take-away. Often, someone asks a question - instead of the question being answered, some silly comment is made that clearly has no purpose other than the person making the comment wants to express their disagreement with the very reason for the original question asked. (long winded statement, sorry if it doesn't make sense) What's the #$%$#@% point, yo? Of so many of these posts? Certainly not helping people, no.

Yes, I put people on an ignore list. I have no patience for these types of posters, and don't want to see them. But I also do want to read through the threads for the posts that are genuinely nice, answering questions without belittling comments, etc. This is why ECF created the ignore list. Absolutely I'm entitled to use it - you are too bro if you so desire. Again - i'm not judging the actual people behind the comments I speak of, as it is difficult to interpret from text what somebody's tone is if you will. But I'm forced to conclude, with certain individuals (unfortunately here in reoville, a large number of individuals), that I no longer wish to see anything they post. Specifically today I've just seen absurd comments all across reoville. I'm weary. It's time to leave again.

I just don't like it here, too many arrogant posts, too many belittling posts, and too little time. This is likely my final post in Reoville. Sorry if I offended anybody, but many of you rubbed me the wrong way one too many times. There's nothing to gain.

Back on topic - I just don't like the Nuppin, I've given it a fair shot. Sorry guys :)

Peace.

edit - Rudy I must stand up for myself on one thing: it's completely out of reason to conclude I put people on an ignore list because they don't have an attitude or opinion that is shared by all. I ignore the people that have that attitude themselves. Please be fair bro.

It was designed by Peter to be used as is. Just following what the mfg'r does. If you don't like to coil it the same you are more than welcome to move the center pin wherever you want to. It's your atty!!! All it takes is to move that one time and it starts spinning, then your screwed and then have to replace the insulator... I would rather not.

This will happen. Sometimes you have to go back and re-read some posts, then think about them, as they could be meant in a few different ways. Take it with a grain of salt my friend. I find that most times than not, what someone said was just taken wrong by me or them....

Welcome to my world brotha... I put it out there in black and white and if someone has a problem with it...oh well. Who am I to :censored: care... I will admit sometimes it frustrates me, (for lack of a better term), how some folks don't want to research a thread or topic and just starts asking the same questions that have been answered over and over in the same thread, and I can get a little peeved by it and it will show in my response. At that point I could care less if someones feeling were hurt. That's just me...

Man... that's a bummer post... I wish you would stay here on the bottom feeder forums! You just did the collaboration video with Russ and Danny right? That was a great video. It was interesting and made me have a better day. I hope you decide to stay or come back, cause just as there are a-holes, their are many good, genuine people around here!! I'd like to see more videos made by you. Ya seem like an awesome dude and I've enjoyed reading your input.

If ya decide to leave, and if you don't reply to this I'll know you have, take it easy and take care sloth!

I had to get it out bro, I had to...can't lie, I'm glancing back to see how angry people are at me, LOL

Thanks man, I am leaving reoville though. I mean, i'm not saying i'll never come over here again, but not often if at all. More vids are coming...I'd just rather spend my time making something I consider an art than surfing the forums :)

Sorry peeps, I did have to get that out. And I am having a bad day. Please, nobody take offense, let's all just take a moment to reflect and think about how much love there is...in the forums, in the world of vaping, in life itself. Some of us could use a reminder for sure.
