My Nuppin was in my mailbox when I got home, talk about fast!!! Ordered on Friday and arrived Monday! Peter must send by missile!
Excellent quality. Machining is superb, the way all the sleeves fit etc. Hefty weight ,Hits like a freight train! I normally do a 7 wrap .97ohm coil but I remember FB saying it hits harder so I added a wrap and with the slightly longer leg on the positive post it came out to 1.25 ohm and it hit harder and produced even more vapor and flavor than my .97 ohm build. So now I just need to spend some time fiddling with coil position and afc cap to hit my sweet spot. At first I had the coil close to the deck like I do with my RM2 but meh results. Lifted to about even with the airholes and did vape better but it seemed high off the deck and my 2mm RxW was sitting high. I made a sightly longer "tail" and slight tilt of the coil so the wick wouls sit on the deck and soak up the juice. It worked better but found myself needing to squonk harder to get the juice up there. I'm sure I find my spot just need to fine tune. I want to master my single coil build on this before even thinking about duals right now.

Is this on the grand that Rob milled down for you? If so, it might not have been milled enough. It might just be off a very slight amount and it wouldn't matter then. To push up on the pin, you could do it by just removing the bottle and gently grab the tube and pin where they meet and push very gently up. You really won't feel it move as it is just a very slight amount, but may be enough for it to make contact. The other alternative would be to pm Peter to get instructions as to altering the 510 pin in the atty.

Thanks Spydro. I went ahead and built from what I could tell from the pics. My coil came in at 1.4. I can try another later, but it's working and it's awesome! You guys aren't blocking the second airhole on a single build right? You just bring the holes down to a smaller opening?
Only one major problem.. it won't fire at all on my TRA:( Not sure why. I had to swap it back to the black wrinkle to get it to fire. It's not making a connection...no O-ring underneath.
Yes I'm. If you look there are three internal holes, two directly across from each other so both are active. Then the third is between them so that only one outside hole is open the other is completely blocked. Pull the cap and look inside.

I liked my Nuppin' so much I got another one while the going was good :)

They do certainly pack a punch I have found. I use a single coil in mine at about 1.3 ohms and have been using my Reo's bareback with them (no kick!).

It is a bit of a mystery though - I have other atties with a smaller chamber, but for some reason the Nuppin' seems to give a bit more wallop than them. It must be fluid dynamics or something :p

I found the same thing! Getting great punch at 1.25 ohms vs. .95 on my other atties. Great warmth and flavor. I'm thinking with no negative posts sticking up all over the place and short positive post there is more airspace within the chamber and airflow different as it must swirl around inside more uniformly? Just a guess.
This thing is like a tailor made suit vs. off the rack. You can tweak it in so many ways, single or double coil, coil height, afc cap etc. and each tweak you can tell the difference right away! I'm liking it.:vapor:
