A couple of months ago (not long after he released them to the public) Peter was worried. I told him: Give it a bit of time, let the word get out, like to Reoville and to all the folks building printed squonkers.

I know there aren't many left at this point. If I needed more, I'd be PM'ing him about now. But I wasn't joking about already having 5 of 'em, so I think I'm OK.

Can't wait to see a vid on the Nuppin', supe. It's a unique build and many 'nauts would benefit from you fast tracking their getting it set up.

The only down side is you're gonna have to change your avi and sig pics

I thought the entire point of this current rash of videos was because some metal Texan nuisance said something like "pfft - Odin - that all you got?"

I don't have a Nuppin, and it's really not the way i vape (which is true of a lot of other atties too). But you've done a commendable job on the RM range. Gives people a good idea of the capabilities of each.

In a few ways, i think this will update the Reo threads, because unless you have the hands of a Chinese infant and the co-ordination of Joe Cocker, then the recommendation to 'just buy a LP Grand' will change only when Rob releases the new gear.

Received my first Nuppin last week and found the time to do my first single coil build yesterday, 28g Kanthal with 1.2 ohms.
It took a while to get the coil in place, which was the reason to keep it single coil at firdt try.
With the limited experience of 2 day vaping:
- great taste, same level as RM2 or better
- thick, rich vape at Odin level, even with 1 coil
- cool vape for direct lung hits due to higher ohms
Great little atty. I don't think that I have anything better in my assortment.
I should have ordered more than one.

I'm sure you won't have any problem selling the Odin's in the classies. You should be able to get almost cost for them too... So technically your not out too much to re-tool your collection...

I'm not selling them just yet. If I do it'll be the factory BFs. I'll keep the ones turbo BF'd for me.

Thanks for the vid Russ. Long, but covers the Nuppin' quite well and as always entertaining.

A suggestion if I may on making the build way easier... If you follow Peter's suggested premade coil picture that I posted earlier in this thread, the build is very easy. IOW, negative lead cut to length per his specs, positive lead hooked (to what I eye as in the right proportion to position the coil near the edge of the deck). Even a dual build from these premade coils only takes me a minute or two to install. When I install I put the negative lead (down leg) in first (straight down and that positions the coil side to side where it will stay), then spin the whole coil to get the positive leg in, lightly tighten the negative lead only to hold it... then install the other coil the same way and finish by tightening all 3 screws. Then I position the coils level to the AFC height if needed a little and to clear the outside edge of the deck. No fuss, no muss, end up with shorter coil tails from posts to coil(s) and a clean looking build.

Super_X, you did the CAD drawing to get the Nuppin made? Fantastic work is all I can say! Have you ever thought of doing vape gear drawings for designs to be made local or overseas as a sideline? You would be good at that, being an experienced vaper and rebuilder. Nice vid too.
