WOW!, and that journalist graduated where? The Big College For Manipulators Graduation?!
So many mistakes and misuse of words that ... that ... arg ... come on!
I was always on the impression that NYT was at least subtle on their manipulations ...

Summary:

"E-liquid = BAD

Pre-filled carts made by Big Tobacco & taxed by Big Government = GOOD"

Oh, boy! Here we go again . Not you, OP, the "media" portrayal of vapers. From the article: "...small bottles that are kept casually around the house for regular refilling of e-cigarettes." Umm, no! The same idiots who keep liquor and meds and chlorine bleach and drain cleaner and knives and guns laying around the house in reach of children keep their liquids out "casually." Nobody (responsible) does this!!! Blah, blah, blah, more of the "THINK OF THE CHILDREN" blabber again...

"Toxicologists warn that e-liquids pose a significant risk to public health, particularly to children, who may be drawn to their bright colors and fragrant flavorings like cherry, chocolate and bubble gum."

Ummmm...How are these liquids "brightly" colored. Since when is clear, tan, and brown considered brightly colored?

I know SOME vendors do color their liquid, which I highly frown upon for a variety of reasons (not needed, does not contribute to the vaping experience). But I have a shelf full of uncolored liquids.

E-liquids are a hazard to children. Toilet cleaner is also a hazard to children. I've yet to see someone stop cleaning their toilet though just because having toilet cleaner is hazardous. Be responsible, lock it up.

Every liquid I've purchased has been some shade of either clear, yellow or brown...

I suppose some children might be attracted to toilet water?
