I'm confused. The whole NYC ban that is being pushed describes e-cigs as an encouragement for youth to smoke. Where are these people getting their facts? I have not seen one person with a personal vape of any type say they started smoking because of someone vaping. It's the opposite. Always. The greatest film ever made is Casablanca. It was made before my time but I remember that scene of Bogart at the bar, the cigarette smoke blowing away from him as he gazes cooly across the bar. That might have gotten people to start smoking. But, come on, now they're just being crazy. This must not pass in any state in the US. I would say the world but apparently we are too late.

"Save the children" is a favorite mantra of the ANTZ (anti nicotine and tobacco zealots), who have spent a lot of time and effort twisting and misanalyzing what few statistics there are about children and smoking. They also love their "ecigs are a gateway to smoking" shibbloleth, which is, as we know, total unproven and in fact just the opposite: "Smoking is a gateway to ecigs"!

If you haven't already done so, check out CASAA (CASAA - The Consumer Advocates for Smoke-free Alternatives Association), join, and support them if you can. CASAA is our voice, and is being recognized as a major player regarding ecigs.

You would think that JQ Public would finally cop a clue and figure out that when a government entity tells you "It's for the children!", you're about to get bent over. Problem is, JQ Public is too gullible and buys into lies that tend to come out of most (if not all) government agencies. Just reinforces my belief that JQ Public is too stupid to vote.

bloomberg has problems...

...and, New Yorkers have a problem. Can't help but think that Bloomberg won't tackle any real problems but instead chooses to go after the size of sodas, food, and ecigs being consumed. Can we just say that he's out of touch with reality? I'm sure there are more serious problems that require his attention.

Yeah. Like A-Rod, for example.
