Do you have any problems with suction doing this method? They snap in there very tightly. Only problem I see is re-filling the bottle would be a real headache, and risk of spilling juice increases dramatically.

Not at all on any of the counts. It just seals correctly, and after a couple of bottle fills - literally like 3-4 refills, the nozzle is perfect and doesn't seem to stretch out any further after that. I have one bottle that I have been using for over a year and it snaps in perfect every time. As for the bottle refill, it's simple. I just grab the nozzle insert with my left hand, pull the bottle off at an angle with the right. Fill the bottle up to the shoulder and then snap back into place. I usually wipe the connection with a piece of paper towel or tissue or whatever , but typically that's just out of habit.

I went through fits with the O-ring when I used Pluid exclusively in my second grand until I found out about the bottle mod. The ring kept swelling and I had bad seal, leakage, and crappy performance. Once I did the bottle mod I haven't looked back. My most recent SL/LP ha had unflavored in it since I bought it, and was kind of lazy about doing the bottle mod, but even though my juice isn't having any effect on the o-ring, I find that I can't live without it. Even without the swelling from the Pluid, the o-ring wants to bunch up or not be tightened to far, etc. Did the mod and problem solved.

To each his or her own, of course, but for me this is an essential thing to do to every Reo.

Replacing that o-ring is a total pain. Just not having that ring in the mix is a huge benefit for me.

I understand and agree but my fingers have a problem grasping, popping on/off that tiny snap cap.....but it works as good as everyone says it does. A very kind person made up a bunch using a different screw cap which last much longer so Im good for a while. :)

Nice! Yeah I frequently use a tissue or a paper towel on the cap when I am removing it, but I could see how it might be problematic is you have trouble gripping something that small. I would love to have access to a 3D printer. I would make a cap that would be super easy change.
