I tried a dual 26/32 alien and it shorted on the chimney no matter how close I kept the coil to the posts.

The deck is on the small side. On just a simple spaced 26 gauge Ti dual build I could only fit 7/6 wraps at 2.5 mm inner diameter. Looking down from the top of the chimney, can see that even that is tight. The Crius vapes as well as any, but much prefer building on my Cthulhu V2 or Aromamizer. The tank on the Crius is on the small side also, just under 4 ml while I can get 5 ml in the Cthulhu and almost 6ml in the Aromamizer.

Right now, for me, the Aromamizer and Cthulhu are tied for first with the Crius a respectable third...

Cthulhu, Crius and the Aromamizer in that order for me but I would throw in my Tengu. I've moved to 24ga on the Crius which I'm really liking these days.

The lack of a good AFC on the Aromamizer is the only thing I am not a big fan of, rubber bands don't belong on tanks :)

I find the Crius and the Bellus quite comparable but have never tried a Cthulhu or Aromamizer. Can get a great deal on Cthulhu at FT right now with MAP code. It's just so damn many RTA's it's like keeping up with the joneses I'm growing tired of it. Happy with my Bellus and Goliath and Crius. I find the flavor out of all three the best on the Goliath though it's not as easy to deal with compared to the other two.

I agree, although I leave it wide open and don't use the rubber band. Lack of top fill is a negative also. And it's looks like it would be real easy to put one on there...

No need to buy any more tanks if your happy with the ones you own. Some of us have an obsession and are just plane stupid. This is just one shelf.

Wow very nice! I do plan on getting some more STM's as I do really like them. Want to have 4 complete tanks and then some spare base sections and glass. I figure the main section is never going to wear out as long as your careful with the threading.

Received my replacement Crius yesterday from wetvapes (sent me the wrong color) cleaned and inspected it and no cracks .. Wicked it and it's vaping like a champ! Anyone know what gauge the stock coils are?

Did they give you a tracking number for the return shipment? And how long did it take?

Son of a.......

They didnt respond to my first 2 emails, then i tried a different email address. They said they would ship my replacement out that day. I still haven't recieved it (its been a week) and not even a trackin number....

I emailed back yesterday asking for an ETA, and i havent even heard back from them.......

I would call them. I had an issue with them receiving my original email about my cracked insulator. Called them and was told they would they would send a new deck right away. Called a couple days later to see if it was shipped yet and was told that it had been already shipped. I requested them to email the tracking number and received it in around a hour. Checked tracking number and noticed they sent it priority mail, I was pleasantly surprised. They are super friendly over the phone. Have nothing but an overall great service with wet vapes, but I would recommend calling them and speaking with a person.

Call them. I got right through to the number on their website. I think it's listed as helpdesk. Of course I called on a weekday. Last week they had sold out of all but the white full sets. That could be your delay if they ran out.

I've got to imagine with the popularity of the tank, Wet Vapes being one of the few vendors that carried them and the poor quality they might be a little overwhelmed with returns. They have always been a real good vendor and probably just need a little more time to set all the problems straight.

The folks on their phones are very nice and real helpful.

Ok, for one, I'm sure you can agree that a regular Clapton or even a fused Clapton coil is one thing, and an Alien build is something completely different and considerably larger...

Secondly, if you're using 26 as core and 32 as outer, sure, claptons may not fit (I still think they would though). But if you're using 28 or even 26 gauge as your core and 36 gauge for the wraps, I have no doubt you could fit a dual build in the Crius. I fit a regular 26g/26g Clapton build in there no problem and I'm sure a 28g core fused Clapton would fit. I fit 28g/26g fused claptons in my Billow V2 no problem and that deck/chimney clearance is MUCH smaller than the Crius man...
