All I know is from a quality/flavor standpoint the last four clones I bought from FT have been outstanding. I have an authentic full size Goblin and a FT Goblin clone, the clone produces better flavor than the real one. I haven't pulled the trigger on the Crius clone yet, am waiting on feedback. The Crius design is certainly worthy of being cloned and I suspect several other manufacturers will be offering their versions soon. So far I'm extremely impressed with the Crius, it performs flawlessly but am leery of porcelain's mechanical frailty when used as an insulator/seal. I'd really like to see a "Peek" version offered, that I'd buy.

I am hoping that is what the clone has, and it's the main reason I bought it. It looks like a plastic-type insulator in the FT picture and they say it has an adjustable pin, so......fingers crossed.

I just used the original coils that it came with. I believe they are nichrome. Dual coils came in at .33 ohms. Amazing vape at 30 watts with airflow closed half way.

I tried to do dual titanium coils but I would have had to compress them to make them fit..... and I like spaced coils for titanium.........

Maybe I'll try SS next time.....

What guage ti are you using? I'm ordering some soon, and was told 26 should be ok. I use 30 ni on a 2.5 it fits well and comes out right at .1.

Yesterday after a rebuild I did get a few dry hits if basically chain vaping. Never had the issue before. Alot here have discussed seepage if the build is too low. In my case when I rebuilt I had the coils a bit too high. Once I lowered it a bit the dry hits stopped. I figure the tails were a bit too long and couldn't bring the juice up quick enough. I'm posting this so maybe it will help someone else out. The wicking is very forgiving but seems the coil placement not so much.

I don't recall if I've said this already. There is a lot to like about the Crius in terms of features. Initially I didn't think the flavor was as good as a Cthulhu v1. I still use 4 of those. But I vape the Crius when I am at home. I don't know, after all this time I think the Crius has better flavor than I initially credited it for. I would say that the flavor is nearly as good as a Cthulhu v1. It certainly produces more vapor than a Cthulhu around 50w. And drinks more. I like mine. I'd buy another.

Yeah it does work fine to be honest- I do like a very restricted airflow though- am still very much a MTL vaper even after all this time... I love my 'cage' mods now, and switch quite a lot between that and the Xvostick (my favourite)- both of them have enough clearance not to block the airflow, though the Xvostick is a little more generous (not quite enough for the Taifun GT2 though!). This and the Cthulhu v2 fit very nicely- really like the way the Crius almost sits flush with the top of the eNVy22!

What kind of build do you use for MTL? Is it TC? I've been building TC lately and it's been working good for straight lung hits, but my wife likes a MTL and I'm not having any luck building one for her in TC. Any ideas?
