Got mine in. Having some learning curve issues. Been a dual coil temp control 316l vapor for some time. Going single coil has thrown me for a loop. My typical temp sweet spot was 420 deg. With a simple 8 wrap I think it was 3 mm .53 ohm I can't go above 13 watts without bouncing off the temp control and my evic mini throttling it back to like 8 watts. Pretty weak vape at the moment. Tried a 2mm coil and it was even worse.

Any 316l temp control non Clapton coil people out there that can tell me about their build.

I go back and forth between SS Clapton and 26AWG 316L. I have done an 9 wrap 26AWG and vape at 425F and watts are at 30. I use a DNA and Temp is dominant. I have no problems at all. I don't have to pay attention to watts really as that is just the ramp up to get to the desired temp. Once I hit 425 it holds steady around there and watts drop right off. This is only within 2 secs. Once I take another hit and coil is still hot watts are irrelevant as I'm close to the desired temp once again.

I'm really amazed with the smaller coils in these. Both my liquids are tasting better. I am blown away...

What amazed me when I put the 2mm in, is just how well it still wicked. I mean pop pop pop...it just keeps wicking like a ....! So simple.

I'm currently just using a simple build in both mine. They're about a 2mm coil with 8 wraps of 28g SS wicked with Japanese cotton. The coils are sitting centered between the post holes and as close as possible to the poles without touching. It is So much better than my 3 and 4mm coils.

I'm using a 2 mm 26 ga ss316l coil in mine. Don't remember the wrap number but the resistance is .602Ω. Works great at 220℃ and 50w.

Damn it. I ordered the regular Engine instead of the Nano. Dual coil :( I made the attempt to build and I got an atomizer short so I'm not even going to bother anymore. I really don't have the patience for this.

On the bright side, I got to see how bad these look on my little eLeaf Ipower 80. So I'm ready for that when the Engine Nano comes in from Subtank Supply. Are there any good high-capacity internal battery mods that will look ok with these 25mm tanks?

Seen this tank a few times, but not taken much notice of it, as I am a MTL vapor and thought this was a tank made for sub ohming, but now I see @ricks is here, and knowing he is a MTL vapor too, I am now very curious about this tank and think I am going to give one a try, think it is a really good looking tank.

Any US vendors have this right now?
