Rcvd my two Nanos Friday and spent the weekend working on various single coil builds. So far nothing even close to the ease and flavor of the engine Mini. I believe it is the increased chamber size and the new side slots in the chamber for air flow causing the lack of flavor. I vape one flavor at a time so the comparison is fair.
I have two of every engine design and the mini is the only one I use consistently.
Guess I will order more Minis as the others collect dust.
I may try a few more times before they go into the bin but so far I am pretty disappointed. Can't say enough good things about the Engine Mini though. Just have to refill fairly often.

I believe its all a crap shoot. Me and the Merlin Mini didnt get along. The majority I believe love it. Same here. We all have different styles and tastes. Just have to keep trying til you find the one.
my final build for flavor was 26 ga kanthal as close to the top of the post without going above
running 7 ohms close to the posts without touching them i tried moving the coil out from the posts but all i got was no flavor or clouds
running from 20 watts to 40 watts
Cotton cut to just barely put in the juice cups
I stopped at 40 watts because it just got to hot for me lungs
any ohms setting or wattage should apply as long as the coil is placed in this way
Im getting good clouds as well as very good flavor

Since mines coming tomorrow, I need advice. I have some premade 24ga 3.5mm twisted coils, but id like to try clapton wire. Im going to order some wire after work. What gauge clapton have you all had luck with. Id like it to be 3.5 or 4mm bore, spaced or not. This will be my first time wrapping coils. Thanks.

What gauge clapton have you all had luck with. Id like it to be 3.5 or 4mm bore, spaced or not. This will be my first time wrapping coils. Thanks.

Are you ordering premade Claptons or spinning them yourself? SS or Kanthal? Regardless, with the tank arriving tomorrow, I imagine the twisted coils will have to go in, or else you have amazing willpower to sit on a brand new tank waiting on wire when you already have some.

Oh ill be using the premade twisted right away, my willpower aint that great..lol. Ill be buying a spool of clapton wire(not going to try tk make that yet) and making coils. Bought a coilmaster v3 kit for $20 from a friend, new never used.

Just a little shout out to 3FVape. I ordered mid Chinese New Year. I selected the Stainless steel version. After a few days I was like damn I should have gotten the Black to go with my Mod. So I emailed 3FVape and asked for the Black to shipped instead. They emailed me the day they reopened and said no problem and don't worry about the extra cost.
Two days later my buddy said I want one also. So I emailed again the day before my shipment went out and I sent $22 US Through PayPal and they sent another Black one for me on the same order. Very nice to deal with.
Onto the star of the show. I just got home after a long ... day. Did a very quick SS316 build .33 ohm. Did it super fast since my wife hates this stuff. Did it so quick while she was upstairs. Build, wick and prime in 2 min. First impressions very good while using TC. That's all I use anyways on my DNA. I'm def getting better flav than my original dual coil Engine. Original guzzled the juice so I'm happy to try the single coil now lol
