I just got a Cartel Revenant 160. I love it. TC is spot on.

TC did not do well in PBUSARDO's recent review. His first version continued to ramp the coil, make sure you do a cotton burn test with whatever TC wires you are using. Worth a look if you own one or are considering one.

I really don't see what all the rage is about for this tank. I would classify the Merlin mini the same way, people on the forums seem to think they are much better than what I have experienced. I haven't had the Engine for very long, but I've tried a couple of builds in it and it just doesn't produce the flavor I was expecting. I have a handful of single coil tanks, so my expectations are based on what I have already. I base my opinions on flavor alone, and I have a couple tanks that sometimes make me think I need to dilute my juice (I only vape Sauce LA which I have found to be fairly consistent). The Mage GTA is awesome, I know it gets criticized for the air pocket but I've never experienced anything but stellar wicking. My other favorite is very similar and performs similarly, and that is the Digiflavor Fuji Son, amazing performance from both these tanks and neither gets the attention deserved.

The skar is a good option for single battery & large atty's. Here's my gf's w/ the Aromamizer & without an atty on top.

It's extremely well built for the price.
Also, dna's do go into sleep mode if you're not using them, you can tell if you see the welcome screen come up.
There's no overhang with the Plus?

It's all a matter of Opinion. Not all taste buds work the same... :D

Nice! Ill be looking at this, first though I need a new mod. I need(want) something a bit more fancy than my Alien. Wish I could find some "sophisticated" in single 18650, or dual if I had to. Therion, not sure. Just something about not being able to turn off DNA devices that, well, turns ME off.

If you're considering anything like TC in the future, just get the Therion. 2 batteries so far easier to pocket than say a 3 battery Triade. 167W should hold most folks, especially something like an Engine nano, so in truth overkill. don't worry about the whole standby thing DNA mods do. The drain is barely perceptible on battery life, and it's easy enough to lock the fire button if you're worried sticking it in your pocket. I can't tell you how often, OK almost always, I forget to lock the fire button and have never had it go off a single time. Not good practice, and not a recommended safety approach, but a little more peace of mind if you're worried.

If you're not into TC, and doubt that you will be, paying for a DNA board does not make sense. There are quality mods on the market that won't cost you the premium a DNA board carries.

Oh, in case you were wondering, the Engine does sit just fine with no overhang.

It's strange how the size of a coil works for some...
Everything is subjective. What works for one might not work for others. Example. I really like juggernaut coils but alot of people don't. That's what I like about this hobby. Trial and error is fun.

People's tastes really vary. When it comes to evaluate flavor, I think it also depends on the juice being vaped, and prior experience with the juice to know what it "should" taste like. My stuff is typically a Vanilla, Caramel, or Butterscotch custards, and they will taste differently in an Engine than another style tank. I think it was about a week ago I finally decided to rebuild both as after 3 months it was hard to get the grunge off the coils. Put new Claptons in, and with the same juice felt it was almost too flavorful in an overwhelming way. Maybe my taste buds were just conditioned from the slow decline in flavor with the 3 month old coils. In less than a day it tasted just fine.

Variations with coil builds, especially ID, is to be expected. Every tank have their own little idiosyncrasies, probably mostly from the airflow pattern, so varying coil size and placement can be critical in some tanks. Top air is likely more difficult to allow for as we're all so used to bottom and/or side air patterns.
