Finally i found a build for my Nano that delivers me good flavor and decent vapor.

ordinary 0.45mm stainless steel wire (no clapton/juggernaut/twistedfusedtralalala), 4 mm inner diameter, 8 wraps, 0.65 ohms, spaced, placed rather high and with good distance to the posts, wicked with ordinary cosmetic organic cotton. the ends of the cotton are layed on the deck, not put through the liquid holes on the deck.
no dry hits, no flooding.
i am vaping it right now at 30 watts (4.6 volts). vapor is not extraordinary but ok for me, flavor is on par with Merlin, Ammit and Taifun GT III.
airflow control is almost fully open.

liquid used: 75% vg 5% water 20% pg, Inawera cactus lime flavor (deliciousssssss)
:);):D

I can't express enough the difference in flavor when I switched to a fused Clapton.....

Anyone know a good place online to buy them pre made?

Yuck.Post holes are not offset! Why do these companies feel they can just change these things whenever they feel like it? I know it seems like a small thing but its the principal that really bothers me.I want what was advertised and promised. Is that asking too much????
I am going to open a support ticket. It may not help remedy my situation but it sure will make me feel better......

When you say with good distance to the posts do you mean far from or close to the posts?

O.K. :pervy:

I don't either Rick! Maybe because people were complaining about coiling it in a different direction??
It just makes it harder to coil especially with coils like Claptons. It also distorts the coil causing you to play with it to get it straight.Just irritating! Nothing I can't handle of course being the master builder I am.lol

First build. 2.5 mm single core clapton SS 26G/36 Kanthal .58 ohms running at 400degrees on VT75. KGD cotton.
Pro's- Good capacity easy to fill. Good flavor and heaps of airflow.I mostly DTL and had to shut down the airflow 75%.Nice looking tank.(Black)
Cons- Post holes, difficult to disassemble, difficult to clean and dry,Hate the short driptip.

As far as flavor it is difficult at best to compare atties. We see this by the number of opposing views on every tank.
Overall I am happy with it so far but I always like to reserve judgement until I have some long term hands on.
I will post some pics of my build next time I rebuild it but I placed the coil top even with the top of the posts. The air holes seem fairly high up on the build deck and as with my Narda getting the AF close to the bottom of the coil is essential to good flavor and less turbulent airflow.I also have the coil fairly close to the posts to keep it centered.:)

Sounds good to me. I hate the drip tip too. Can't stand these wide open short mouth pieces...

Good Luck on your nano journey. ;)
What wire profile are you using for TC on the mixed clapton?

It looks nice but it puts my lips and chins too close to the airflow.lol

Thank you Rick it seems like a winner to me so far.

Thanks TD.Its pretty close to the default SS profile.I just lowered the wattage a tad.

Edit- Forgot to mention it is a spaced coil as I was having difficulties using a tight wrap Clapton in TC.(It would vape fine for a while then go anemic)

Fortunately it's a standard 510, easy to substitute another. (Fingernail between the top cap and drip tip flared section, it'll lever out easily enough) In my case this is the first time I stuck with the vendor dt - all my other tanks get an FT glass & SS tip.
