The TriBeCa clone is really good in the nano with a 3mm Clapton that gave almost no flavor with the lemonade. I can run the identical coil in the Merlin with the lemonade and it's wonderful.
Then it must be a coil placement issue. Maybe wicking too? Maybe post a picture of your build/wicking maybe everyone can help find out why you have little flavor. Mines fine. That's what I run in my when I use tc. I only use 8 wraps though. Have you tried raising the coils up a little? I found it has better flavor for me.I have now replaced all my active tanks with these...

I bought some no-name cotton squares a few months ago and they would taste great for only one tank. After that it just tasted like crap. Another member here told me to try Rayon. This stuff is great and lasts almost forever. Have you tried Rayon yet?Taking a shot in the dark here....
Does anyone know the brand of cotton that comes with the OBS Engines?
I have using Cotton Bacon for so long I never think about it, but maybe my taste buds are changing because I like the flavor from the included cotton over my bacon.
I have a few squares of KGD somewhere I can try but I can't find them, in that box is a few squares of Muji and a few Kumo, i'll be damned if I know where the hell I put it....
probably gonna hop on Nordstroms.com and order a couple of those 12.00 boxers for the future.
