Any leaking issues with this? Debating on this or the Pharaoh.

With decent wicking I've had no leaking issues.
Flavor wise I find it excellent, though others have found it not so good. I expect that is due to the particulars of the coils I use and how I place them. I found a good working placement fast, have stuck to it, get consistently good results.

I think the smaller coil ID works better for some because the wick isn't clocked up so much. If using bigger coils, then thin-out/cut the thickness of the tails. It's really a fine line imho to get the density right in regards of propper wicking and no flooding too.
I actually wen't back to short tails and just dipping them into top of wick-holes, so cutting the tails by resting the scissor against the inner deck/base and cutting. When getting low in liquid then it's not as good as the "all-the-way-to-bottom" method, but it's better at wicking generally imho for high wattage/DL/High-VG. I can see that, from operating it in TC where the wattage sometimes drops down lower than wanted if using the bottom method(with long drags/high-wattage/DL/High-VG). Same with dual-coil engine too.

this tank pretty much cant leak.
I use 3mm ID coils with wicks just inside the wick holes, not all the way to the deck. Coil placement is really crucial on this tank to get the best flavor, for me aligning the coil at the height of the post gives me the best flavor.

The way I do it...
Is with a 2mm coil and it sits dead center of the post holes with my wick ends thinned out some and sitting on the bottom of the base.
These are some of the ways that we use out Nano's. You just have to see what works best for you.

In that pic the wicks are cut so they're just resting on top of the holes... afaik from my experience with the mini that is the best way to wick it. I've plugged up the back hole and it helps, my gf keeps complaining about the flavor even though I mentioned it and she chose this over the mini she could have gotten.
I have a cold rn so I can't taste anything but I gotta admit it feels anemic and that's the main problem I have with it, like it just doesn't feel as robust/satisfying as my other atties and when I've used it, like I see the vapor coming out of my mouth but I dont feel satisfied, like it's not as thick or dense or w/e and I have to chain vape the hell out of it. not much th either.
I picked up the last one, it was cheap bc my vape shop went out of business. [emoji17]

BTW what's the best way to plug up that hole? I'd like to do it permanently, if possible so my gf doesn't have to faff around with it.
Totally different tanks and experience. The Pharaoh was designed for big deck big coil build and lots of clouds. Blows through juice faster than a Hummer through gas. The flavor is good after you play around a bit with the airflow. It is a bottom air with a top air option (which i don't recommend unless you're going to massive cloud s it really mutes the flavor) so leaking is possible, but properly wicked does behave itself. The Engine family is a leak resistant (proof from my perspective) with excellent flavor (onions vary especially with the Nano) and decent cloud without being overpowering.
If you want high wattage big cloud the Pharaoh is a solid choice. If you want a good flavor leak resistant tank look to the Engine family.

I checked them and they're even. Someone in another thread said it could be old liquid from another tank that finally made its way into the battery compartment. I think that's more likely since I've had leaking issues with that tank and never with the Engine Nano. And I haven't had to clean the inside of my mod since I made that post yesterday.
The flavor has been very good for me.
Hopefully is was from the other tank... Makes sense. I had to clean an old mod years ago because of my liquid getting inside it and I simply poured alcohol on it a couple times and blew it dry with my compressor. Just take the battery out first.
Excellent, Engine Nano seems much more in my tool house since I usually vape 16-25W on .7ohms. I've been hearing hit or miss opinions on the flavor after doing more research as this tank doesn't have airflow coming up below the coil - would you say that the flavor of this is comparable or exceeds that of the Merlin (which is the tank I used for the past year before it broke) or the Crius which I've used extensively as well?
