my wife and i have been at the dallas one for a few hrs a few days since they started it. she is on s.s.d. as she is disabled. she has been going through a long term treatment for her illness. she has medicare from the s.s.d and also humana insurance that we pay for. she has been trying to find a doctor to take some lab work and do a complete physical so she can continue her treatments thats needed to be done by a p.c.p. she called the p.c.p she has been seeing since she was 5 and got told they are no longer taking her insurance and to find a new p.c.p. she stated a hunt for a doctor that will 1 take her and 2 take her insurance that has been so stressfull. this hunt started 3 weeks ago and just today after almost every doctor her insurance told her took the insurance(they emailed her a complete list of doctors with number) she finally found one. every doctor she called said they would take her till they found out about his insurance. the response she would get is "the government has not been paying on medicare nor humana insurance claims"" we are no longer taking in new patients with either of those insurances". just yesterday we had to go to the emergency room so she could get her prescriptions as the doctor doing her treatment cant prescribe all the meds she needs. thing like this are so messed up its sad. i wish things would change but untill it does i only see them getting worse. every one that has a chance to go to a occupy protest should if its not for you for all those that cant.
