Awhile back I was getting discouraged because I just COULDN'T stop smoking regular cigs.

After trying many, many different PV's, liquids, etc., I finally found my favorite.

It's an ego-Twist with smok cartomizers, and DK-TAB with WTA from Aromajuice (a mixture of 12mg and 24mg). Great throat hit and taste.

Whenever I wanted a smoke, I'd take a nice hit off my e-cig, then light up a smoke. The throat hit wasn't as good and it tasted awful. At first, I'd get through about 1/2 to 3/4 of the smoke and put it out. Then I got to the point where I'd take one hit and put it down.

Now, I don't even want one.

I know there are people out there trying to quit, but what worked for me was not really "setting a date" or "quitting now", it was just taking a puff of an analog and having the e-cig right there to compare. I found there IS no comparison.

I turn my Twist down to low during the workday when I'm puffing in my office, and when I'm out drinking, I turn it way up and use more 24mg juice.

Just thought this might help some of you guys out there who are trying to put down the analogs. If you need a smoke, have one, but always have the e-cig there and take a puff off that, too.

Congrats....yeah, I think everyone has to follow their own path to being cigarette free. As for myself, I didn't want to mix the two and felt that it would ultimately make it more difficult to get off the analogs in the long run...I just dumped them and vaped away...really hard for a good week or two.

I think my logic (falacy or not) stems from another time when I was trying to quit cigs, but was using chewing tobacco to do it, and told myself I would just ween myself off the smokes and chew...then quit chewing when the time was right...I ended up being a smoker and a chewer, sometimes all at the same time.

I completely gave up the chew about 15 years ago, and I think it was harder than giving up the smokes....course, that's about the time I became a 1.5 - 2 PAD smoker too.
