in a box.
I received my 357 lr long barrel on June 14th. It has been working fine until right now. A couple of hours ago I followed the cleaning instructions. Instead of alcohol I used vodka. The vodka I used was pretty chilled. After the cleaning, my 357 performed very well. Been chain vaping all day since I cleaned it. Just now I switched to a different atty to try new juices to see which one I would want to vape on my 357. I plugged my 357 back in and it won't fire at all... I am using 100% vg juices but they are clear. The mod I'm using is a reo with a 3.7 volt battery. What could be the problem? At the moment my 357 is back to sitting in a bowl of vodka and I'll be giving it another cleaning when I wake up to see if it would work again. All my other EM LR atties work fine on my reo

Over bathing them in my opinion isnt the best for them, but your best bet is to take your multimeter to it, see if you get a reading, if you get 0 then you more then likely popped your coil. These must be kept wet all the time with eliquid or you risk popping that coil. Sometimes, I say sometimes, you can take a needle and push down on the side the coil lead popped and you can get it to connect again for a little while but that's the last option and at that it will only last for a little while. Keep them very wet and these last a dam long time, I'm still testing my original 5 357 1.5ohm Attys purchased almost a year ago and 1 went at 7 months, 1 went at 7.5 months, and the other 3 are still going on month 10 right now, all 5 where placed on 5 different Reos so I could make sure they where kept wet :)

I also wouldnt use chilled anything to bath or clean them with, fill a shot glass with your Vodka and let it sit till it hits room temp, put a lid on it when not in use so it doesnt evaporate,, the Nichrome wire shouldn't go from hot to a cold bath it can effect the wire itself, making it expand and contract with hot to cold, this you dont want. I use a hot water to first flush mine, then a room temp vodka ran through them about 5-6 flushes, then a final hot water rinse, blow out lightly from the threaded end, let em sit for a while then re-prime with a little bit of PG/VG and there good to go again.

Hanna has asked me to give anyone looking for technical help or questions only, or that just needs help this email to contact him as he doesnt have the time right now to be on the forum he is very busy, so if you have any technical questions please email him here = hybridvapes@gmail.com

I ordered a slew of HH357 901's mostly LR, and a couple 510's about a month ago, just when the V2's were coming out, but mostly in custom order only. I have about 10 altogether.
I had sold a bunch of mods and attys because imo vaping just doesn't get any better than on a 357. It doesn't matter what APV you use, in fact I have 2 eGo batts in my rotation.

I got stocked up because initially when i first started using HH357, the first few lasted me 2 weeks each. Since then, a month ago I haven't been able to kill one.
I have 4 in rotation on 2 eGo's, and a Provari. I haven't done a vodka bath in 2 weeks; waiting for signs of clogging or less vapor.
I go through about 7ml of juice a day.
I have an Aero on my Reo and XL Vmod bottom feeders for the road... they won't die either, and are fantastic too.

the only other atty i use is the AVA on a VMax... LR 1.6 at 3.9v (VMax hits hard).

That's it; that's all i'm interested in. In fact since HH357's came into my world, I've gotten bored with ECF. And there isn't even a sub forum for AVID or HH357 .... weird

What is that?

Cisco Spec 501H Bridgeless Atomizer - Avid Vaper

I like the sealed connection - it even takes it a step further than most and there are no drilled air holes in the threads. So you should be able to use this with a 901 drip shield without an adapter. No leakage at all. Even with a 510 extender in a drip shield, I still get a lot of drip that goes in to the 510 extender and screws with the conductivity and flavor.

I also saw these sneak on to the avid vaper site:

LR100 Low Resistance Atomizer 2.0 ohm - Avid Vaper

I'm not real familiar with a 4081, and it sounds like they'll need an adapter to work on a 510 device, and there also aren't any drip tips available for them yet. Sounds like a larger 306 (similar to another vendor's popular atomizer). I might try one of these out when the drip tips come in, I've been enjoying 306's lately.

thanks for the heads up... most of my hh357's are 901, and I've been a 901 guy for over a year...
so how do they taste ... hmm?

Soooo I was press ganged by Cisco to buy a long barreled 357 at Vapestock. He was merciless and relentless in his quest !

N'ahh only joking for those that have not had the pleasure of meeting him let me say it will be a pleasure.

That was three weeks ago and it has been behaving like a champ in my VMod ever since apart from a brief couple of days on an Ego and ProVari dripping to get to grips with it.

Have been vaping it today, well everyday, and had just changed batterys and it struck me the vape was a little warmer than I was expecting. So out with the multimeter.

After 3 weeks it is ohm'ing between 0.9 - 1. I usually push between 2 - 5ml a day through it depending on which of the two mods I carry has the juice I am preferring that day in it but it does get used a fair amount.

It is still vaping like a champ but am concerned about the loss of resistance after 3 weeks.

Today's conundrum is....clean and see what happens or just carry on vaping ?

Ditto here, I think with time you get better at keeping the HH.357s wet and they don't clog or burn out as fast.

Same on ECF's latest and greatest new releases, I've lost all desire to try new things I'm so happy. One exception is I am waiting on the Grand VV, so I can use the the HH.357 2.0s I have collecting dust in a drawer. They didn't cut it for me at 3.7-4.2 volts.

exactly...
contentment; hh357's have helped me get a life LOL..
I have a 2.0 901 V2 that i use on a good VV, but I try to keep it at 3.9v.
I chain vape so I have 3 APV's loaded with 357's to keep things going without getting them too hot and burnt out... like i said 2 of them are just eGo batts, so much for the "too expensive" argument.

Just tried it out - I really like the complete seal with the exception of the 901 air hole. I can drip a TON into this thing and no leakage, which is rare with a bridgeless atomizer. I can also use it on one of my Precise+ without having to use a 901 adapter, which I hate doing (would much rather have a connection straight from the atomizer to the rhodium plated contacts). The flavor is very good. The draw is very TIGHT. I compared it to the v1 HH357 901 I have and the air hole is smaller. It's almost a little too tight. Other than that though, it's fantastic. Looking in to the atomizer, it looks very similar to a v2 HH357 with the same SS mesh surrounding the cup. I would be head over heels with this if it had a slightly bigger airhole. Haven't tried it with a drip shield - I'm a little worried it will tighten up the air flow even more.

Cool Vaptamist...
This is in regard to 901 connectors (not the 501H)
Avid's stealth adapters are pricey ($6.95) but really nice low profile; about 1mm above the connector.
Beware, the open end adapter will NOT thread to an HH357 901.. I have to use a conventional adapter if i want open end for b/f. But the closed end are great for 357's.

in a box.
Got my new hh.357 and been using it for 4 days and my old one is getting sent back to me in a couple of days. Is this what the inside is suppose to look like? Seems like my wick is too long on the sides and the mesh has holes in it.

Still vapes like a charm. Just wondering. Is it possible that the long wick and mesh could cause a problem in the future?
