I haven't read through this through this thread yet but I did receive my HH357 today in the mail. I know you guys designed this in a specific way but I figured I would give my input. After only using this for a couple hours I noticed something right away that I did not like but I have fixed in my situation. You might want to consider making some with a bridge to them. Mine kept spitting juice into my mouth. I fixed this easily by taking a bridge out of a 510 atty and inserting it into my 357 carefully. I no longer have spitting juice but still the same experience. I did not put any mesh on the bridge, just the metal bridge itself.
This thing really hits good.
What voltage would you suggest for 1.9 ohm? I am currently at 4.4v with no errors on the Provari but I am curious about maximum voltages on this since it is not a standard OEM atty.

Hey Skyway...since you didn't read the thread I'll mention that it has been mentioned in this thread that juice spitting at you is generally a sign of water in the juice. I found that some juice spit while others did not... Someone mentioned drop of water on a hot skillet analogy - It's possible the juice you're using has a tad of water in it. Using juice with no water - I get no spitting back.

Well, mine is normally a 65/35 PG/VG mixture. I make the juice myself and I do not add any water. Although, this last batch was using some VG from RTS Vapes and they came out and stated that their VG had added distilled water. I have since stopped using their smaller bottles of VG. Their 1 gallon jugs apparently are untouched. If I do order any VG from them in the future, the gallon jug is what I will order.
I have since then been reading a lot of the thread to educate myself. I haven't come across the post you are referring too but it does make sense.
Regardless either way, the little metal bridge is still there and not harming anything. I am really liking the 357. I will continue to use it to test how long it will last. I am at 1.9ohm and have found that 4.2 is doing the best for me. A nice cool vape with a lot of flavor and more vapor than any 510 I have used. I do not like to take really long drags and so far the 357 is working well for that. Only other atty that has produced as much vapor would be my 801's that I have used in the past. I do not like to use 801's on the Provari since they make it too long.

I just got mine today and like it except for the spitting. I already have a blister on my lips. I'm going to try your bridge mod because the spitting is ruining the experience. Maybe I am pulling too hard. I hate to mod a $22 atty, but I can't see how inserting a bridge would harm anything. Thanks for the tip.

Next time I'll order the XL barrel. Does anyone make an XL 510 drip tip?

Update: I stuck in a meshless bridge from a 306 and it's a bit better spitting wise.

I had some "spitting" with my first couple .357's

I first thought it was the juice, but FSUSA confirmed that they do not use any water in their juices. But by this time they stopped spitting. Might have just been during the break in. No spitting whatsoever now :)

I can't wait until mine gets there.

I think the CherryVape Ming drip tips help with the spitting

I have been using the 357 for about a week now and I do have one concern that has been coming up. The performance of the atty is solid along with the vapor and flavor. In almost all aspects I find this atty to be top notch, almost too top notch, that brings me to my problem. I vape 15mg custom juice made by myself. I have been finding ever since I have used the 357 that my mouth has been getting tingly, like the nicotine is bothering my mouth. To test this I have been using just a SR 510 with the exact same juice and the problem has gone away. I almost want to say it is because of the heat of the vape but it is not burning. Mine is a 1.9ohm and am only vaping at 4.2. Once I go to 4.3 the flavor changes and it is no longer a good vape. If I go down to 4.0, the vapor drops out and so does performance.
Is anyone else running into this problem? I am thinking maybe bringing the nic count down for me would do the trick but I am not sure I want to go too much lower on nic at this time.

In this combination you are in the most control of the juice. So trying only dropping nic content by a couple of mg -- maybe 2 or 3. Shouldn't make a big difference.

But no, I have not run into this problem.

I didn't get tingling mouth but I did cut my nic level in half because I was getting lightheaded from too much, 24mg chainvape is pretty intense. I do 12mg now and it's great for me, not sure what strength you vape.

OK, so a couple of days now with the 357, pretty awesome so far. I actually find that I need to turn the voltage or watts down as the atty is so strong it (3.0 ohms) doesn't need a full 6 volts. Really brings out the flavor in the vape and the vapor is insane. I have 2, one is perfect except for some spitting but the other one leaks like a sieve. I've tried everything, but it only takes a few drops to have juice leaking everywhere from this thing. Any fixes for this?

I decided to take a different route until I make a lower nic juice. I was looking at my wattage calc and found that the difference between 4.2 and 4.1 volts is pretty significant with a 1.9ohm. It goes from 9.28 watts to 8.85 watts just changing from 4.2 to 4.1 volts. I have not noticed any tingling yet so maybe it is just too much wattage in my situation.

debook, your wattage was really high vaping 3ohm at 6volts. That is 12 watts. For me that is extremely high but I guess for others it is ok. 5.1-5.2 would give you right around the high 8's to 9 watts. Good spot for myself. If your watts are that high, might constitute the spitting, or it could be the juice like others have mentioned.
The leaking sounds like your seal might have been broken. Did you happen to tighten down the atty too hard when putting on your pv?

No, I only tighten them until I start to feel slight resistance, I never crank them down just for that reason plus I like the draw to be a little more 'airy'. Its leaked since the first time I used it, the other one is perfect with zero leaking at all.
I usually vape at 5 - 6 volts and the HH357 is a phenomenal vape above 10 watts depending on the juice.
