wow this atty is great. Like double the vaper and better taste. Just strange it shows .7 to .8 ohms off from what I ordered on my Darwin. Does the ohm increase after some use or did I get a different one then what I ordered. Cool packaging. Didn't test the long barrled one yet. Really impressed with it.

Hello everyone,

I got my first hh.357 atomizer a few days ago and I have the feeling I am not doing something right. My main issue is that vapour production is comparable to a normal SR 510 atomizer at best. I am using the HH.357 on a Alpha Ultra with 3.7 volt 14500 AW IMR batteries. The first day the atomizer had the nasty habit of spitting hot liquid into my mouth on almost every drag, but having read the multiple threads about this atomizer I decided to allow it a few days to break in and settle down. On the second day of consistent use the spitting suddenly stopped and the throat hit increased dramatically to a level I would expect from a nice LR atomizer. The taste also became more pronounced and I am actually impressed with the smooth nuances this atomizer can reproduce. Unfortunately no matter if I make short hard draws or more relaxed ones vapour production is quite lacking. I carefully followed the instructions about priming the atomizer and now I am on my fourth day of using it so any tips about how to make it perform better would be highly appreciated.

To be honest I don't think my problems with the HH.357 are in anyway related to the Alpha because I suspected the poor vapour production might be related to the RES so I switched to the standard atomizer interface which basically turns the Alpha Ultra into a standard 3.7 volt device and... there wasn't any change. There are some comments about the HH.357 performance on the Apex Alpha devices here: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/innovapor/220571-anybody-use-alpha-357-a.html It was this thread actually as well as some other reviews of the HH.357 that made me order it, but I suspect that either I am doing something wrong and cannot make it perform to its fullest or I just got a defective one.

Would it be alright to use 2.0ohm HH.357 at 6v? I've used 2.5 HH.357 with good results (at 6v), but I want to double-check with you guys first.

TIA :vapor:

Not sure if I'd recommend it at 6V. I'm all about "reckless TH" but that's pushing it a bit. Not sure how many juices could handle it before the atty pops. But I bet it vapes beautifully at 5V...
