A review for one of the customs with 100% Vg spec would be MUCH appreciated (especially coming from a regular HH user who has a sound basis for comparison). I am considering pulling the trigger on one of these but would like to know what to expect. Lead time for me (living in Europe) will probably be more than a month which is just too long for my likeing...

This thread is surprisingly lacking of reviews for the customs considering how popular the HHs are.

If you go to custom 357 now, the choices for juice type is only 100 VG or 100 PG; no Blend anymore.... if you don't pick one you can't order a custom.
Seems like the ability to facilitate either is the main difference...?
My review on a "FinnishSpecial" a Custom 100%VG, 901 style HH357 is on the Avid website, under custom reviews. I think it´s also post #1355 on this thread.

Hanna is sending me new V2-FinnishSpecials, it´s interesting to see how much better they are... I´ll write here as soon as I´ll get them.

I'm almost interested in trying the new models. I still have 3 1.5ohm and one 3.0 ohm still doing good although I have only used one or two of them only a few times.

2 of them I sent back to hanna to dissect, one looked good but wouldn't fire and one I got was a leaker. They were very good at backing their warranty.

well 2 custom 901's i got a few days ago was designated "blend; pg/vg"... i can't tell if it's a custom; i looked with a light at the coils and they might be V2 but too hard to tell. All i know is that from now on I will never enjoy vaping as much as i do with HH357's.....

unless i can get my rebuildables (gg, genesis) to taste that good... a guy that i respect said he couldn't get his rebuilds to taste as good as the 357, and he knows what he's talking about.

that said, i know want to have at least one HH357 in the house at all times, if possible.

At Least 1 HH in the house At ALL Times! Is my New Rule!

This is my first shout out/Review, if you will, for the HH .357. Hands Down Bad ...!!!

I've used mine All Day...Every Day since November. I cleaned it once a week in November & December, then maybe once in January and February, but No Cleaning since, Just Drop, Drop, Toot. Mine finally died yesterday. Yes, that's 5 months!!
Will I buy another one? As soon as I can get to a computer and get an order in!

Thank you for the HH .357, there Awesome!!

Try blowing it out, filling with your juice, blowing it out again then filling and vape. Let me know the results.

I din't know if it's the majority but i guess a hell of a lot of 357 vapers are not getting more than a month out of these. They are atomizers (the disposable kind).... I'm used to tossing out attys at 2 or 3 weeks if they haven't died, and the taste and or vapor is shot.
There is no guarantee other than DOA.
For those of us that don't get a month or more out of our 357's we are paying for flavor and a vape like no other. I'm still trying to figure how to make them last longer, but haven't found how.

Regarding longevity, I was wondering what people who are using ultrasonic cleaners to clean these have experienced. I have turned to using vinegar (overnight) to soak the HHs, then I clean them by sealing the top with an 808 silicone mouthpiece and drawing fresh vinegar through them by inserting a syringe into the hole on the mouthpiece. After this, I rinse out ALL the vinegar with warm water and dry for about 5-10 minutes with a hair dryer blowing at the HHs. This gets the job done pretty well, but after 1 day, performance drops off again. Of course, atty killin' Boba's is probably contributing a lot to this.

I'd be curious to know what the average life expectancy of HH 357 (LR and SR and HR) ... i assume most have the LR 1.5's ...
I tend to be superstitious about things like if it works good, don't try anything different, so i usually have a LR on hand...:)
I use vodka so far, but again, MWA doesn't do much of anything other than keep them wet, and he has the most life.
