BUMP!

I have a probably dumb question...what cone or adapter thingy would hide the threads on my e-power without using the big cone that came with it?

see:

I just want the cone threads hidden/protected, all the cones I've seen extend past the joint more than I'd like and would make tanks a drag.

I saw some parts on CCV that might be what I want, but it's hard to tell.

I saw this on a different site way back, but im not sure if mentioning a different vendor is allowed here.

I found it... ;)

That does look like what I want...just something to cover the threads. Thx!

Edit: Hmm, it says its' an eGo-T fitting...eGo and ePowers don't have the same threads, right?

Oh well, gives me an idea of what to look for anyways. :)

Any news on when the V2 will be for sale to the rest of us? I really really really....................want one lol

Monday, that's given everyone over 2 months to get a hold of me, I feel that's more then fair amount of time, after that just have to talk to Jesus. I'll still replace the stragglers units but be no guarantee they be in stock after that time. I sent 1 to Phil to review.

oh BTW that's not the official smoktech site this is: www.smoktech.com

Since nobody else mentioned it, Phil put a video up last night featuring two chrome L-tubes. It's not a review, but just a 2 minute comparison of a chrome L Rider Lambo, and the chrome Young June model CCV has. He holds both up and does a comparison point by point on features and layout.

I'll bet my bottom dollar that the Young June (CCV) device smokes the L-Rider like a cheap cigar. The only thing the L Rider really has going for it is you can lock the voltages. That's it. It doesn't even have PWM, it has a linear regulator. And that may be a problem with Phil. He doesn't tend to like the newer devices with aggressively tuned regulators. For example, he's not a fan of the VMax because he says it vapes like any other device when it's set a half volt higher which he feels is misleading. I doubt the Young June is tuned that aggressively. In fact in the video, he did one voltage test with LR hardware, and the Lambo was under, and the Young June was spot on.

I predict Phil will LOVE the Young June, and Andrews gonna be racing to get more to keep up with demand.

If anyone is interested, and hasn't yet seen it, here is the video:

Quick, silly question... ok, so Im looking at adapters earlier and was considering buying a 510 to 510 (shorty i guess its called) just to save thread wear on my vmax.

Now, what is the difference between sealed and unsealed?

Is sealed just for using attys and dripping so any excess juice doesnt flood the battery connector? Doesnt airflow get restriced?

I guess they both have a purpose... I guess Im wondering what each are used for and why?
