Good Morning Folks...

Looks like I'm going to be hangin' at the hospital some more. The exGF just called, her hip that she just had the replacement surgery on... popped out when she rolled over in bed. I'm also uncertain which hospital they will take her too... The one they did the surgery at is the newer one on the west side of town but the older one is closer to where she lives... so I'm waiting for a to find that out.

I'm just waiting for the ER to release the exGF now. They ended up giving her two vials of morphine and one dilata for the pain and that just barely did anything... Considering that she's weighs about 85lbs... Well the nurse is surprised to say the least.

Anyway, they got her hip reset without any problem...so we're just waiting and then I will take her home.

had to habe a whole new breaker box put it and Roger added the generator into for me so now I'm runnin the house by gennie until they come and hook the transformer and meter back up. Now when hurricanes come I can use the well instead of haulin water and thw whole house will work by the gennie Roger is my new best friend at this moment he just left a little while ago. He came inside and fixed inside breaker box too. the ones who put that in before i moved here had shet screwed up

Ok... quick update on Round 3 for the steak rub...

It's getting close. This last one was pretty good tasting but just too bold covering the flavor of the meat more than I'm after. I'll probably scale back the paprika and throw out the touch of cumin I'd added ( just 1/8 tsp in the approx 4 tbsp total ) and I'm thinking about something a little different to add in... maybe just a light touch of allspice if I can get it light enough to just enhance but not flavor too much...

Thru all of this so far.. I'm really liking what the red/green bell pepper flakes are bringing to the table, a nice clean flavor that doesn't overwhelm the meat. The course black pepper is also pretty nice for the spicy side. Of course onion and garlic powder is always nice to flavor things up as long as they aren't over done.

Anyway... I'll continue to work on it... hopefully it won't take me too many more variations and I can share the results when I get everything balanced where I like it.
