RD another X class flare on the way, they say this one will max out at 8.3

The last X9.3 one produced a lot of aurora's... There was even a guy that posted shots of it as far south as Arkansas. I tried taking a set of shots but couldn't see any here, was probably too late when I did it, the guy in AR did it just after dark and I waited until about 10pm

The tornado warning by Moonie has expired... there is one well south of him going from West Palm Beach down to Ft. Lauderdale

Irma is showing to be a Cat4 again just as it's about to landfall south of Marco... the Key's radar is up/down so isn't a reliable source, I'm using Miami which shows lower velocities that they are since it's radar beam is so high up.

A quick Irma update...

It's currently moving north at 14 mph and according to the still current tract forecast towards Tampa where it'll turn slightly west towards Hudson and re-enter the Gulf for a time. Classy is about 150 miles north-ish so it'll be around 10+ hours before she sees the worst of things. I'm still seeing Cat3 level winds of up to 125mph on radar but it's been weakening since landfall.

Irma update...

As before, she's changed direction again, more north than the previous tracts suggested. Now she's headed in Classy's direction or just to the east of her perhaps. Irma's winds have declined but only a bit... currently radar is showing strong Cat2 to weak Cat3 velocities. She's still traveling at 14mph and her eye is about 70 miles out and should reach Classy's area in about 5 hours. The highest winds I see on radar on the NE side of the eye are still just over 100mph, but the last few updates, these have decreased from where they were.
