the Hotel TV system is down,, hhmmm only if there was a guy around here that could go check it out, only if it wasn't illegal for that guy to go check it out, only if they wouldn't have a cow if they heard what this guy charges for emergency services

Good morning y'all, I hope we all have a great Monday for what it's worth. At least something seems to have gone right in Florida overnight. I saw how Irma seems to be weakening fast. Sure, there's still flooding and wind damage. But it could have been a LOT worse.

Norman, Ok
good morning! ;)

any word from aniters? :(

Not yet...

The highest gust at the airport in her area shows up to 54mph... Rain was likely the worst of it, radar indicates around 6-8+ inches in the area. There are chances that she may have lost power, internet and/or cell service.. if so it may be a bit before she can contact anyone. I'm sure she will check in with us or someone the first chance she gets.

For the airport by Classy...

The highest gust I see reported is about 55mph. Rain ( radar indicated ) was around 4+ inches in her area and some close by areas show about 5.3" ....

LordDavon's area...

At the airport, the highest gust reported was 79 mph. Radar indicated rainfalls were in the 6-7".

Moonie's area...

I'm uncertain which area to pull wind data from... I know I saw winds in the 60-70+mph range at times but I didn't monitor that area constantly, I primarily was just watching for tornado watches. Radar indicated total rainfall is in the 5-6" range.

Just visited the FPL webstite ( Florida Power & Light )....

They are reporting that about 5 million people are without power across the state. Here is a screen capture of their outage map, I'd suspect that there are also smaller areas without power here and there not represented on this.
