I'm glad it's gray...it looked a bit pink on my screen....Whew!!
You probably just came outta your bathroom, and your eye's were still getting the pink out--oh! Brainstorm! Paint yer walls with Visine, maybe that'll get the pink out!
Here's before pics on the trailer we're making a few improvements
Woohoo! That's going to look great when you're finished, I can't wait to see!
You're doing a great job, Zooker. :toast:
Thanks lilac, workin' hard over here. I've been taking a break for a couple hours, my lower back is talking to me rather loudly, it needs to hush up so I can go grout!

Luckily, the walls are off-white :D I had to cover the floor though, with a floor cloth so I can put it in a washer :D

I haven't seen KalebK either

Here's a fun impromptu survey...

What keeps you young, DV'ers? feeling young, looking young, whatever, what do you do?

I laugh and dance with my kids alot!
 I might stay young because I'm not married and I don't have kids! All those people have responsibilities, gray hairs, and wrinkles!!

It doesn't matter if you grow up, you'll still always be their little boy!!

Well, I'm only 21 ;) gosh, you guys are freakin' old!

Well I do have lots of responsibilities and many gray hairs, but I use a really nice wrinkle serum, don't smoke, eat healthy, stay out of the sun, laugh and sing everyday, I read like a crazy lunatic and try to do something daily that challenges my brain. I think that right there is the secret to beating the old age monster--keep that brain challenged!

That reminds me of when my dad called my stepbrother to wish him happy birthday and to ask him how it felt to be almost 50 and my stepbrother replied I don't know dad how does it feel to have a son that's almost 50 rofl... Taught him a lesson!

When my mom turned 50 it was the same year the statue of liberty turned 100 and my mom's birthday was the 4th of July soooo my dad put single letters on 8x10 paper saying congratulations geri on being half as old as and had a huge picture of the statue of liberty all on the living room window facing the street... I didn't know if the man was going to survive the day!

Good thing Cnew brought up that survey because you old people were making me feel like a baby! ;) Okay, maybe not, as I am 42!

I have not let my mind get old. I am always trying to learn new things. Most of the time I try to crack jokes, even at inappropriate things! I was even cracking my dad and brother up at my mom's funeral! Humor is like a survival too for me, though.

BTW, Sonic, my youngest cat, is named Perky Goth. A character from one of the only comic books I read, on occassion, Dork Tower. It's by an artist nearby in Madison, WI, John Kovalic. He created the games, Apples to Apples and Munchkin. He used to do political cartoons for one of the state's newspapers. Anyway, my brother is a gamer and got me into the comic, as it is about gamers. He also got me into Magic the Gathering. I don't play the card game, except for on the computer or XBOX 360, though. Half the time, I don't know what I'm doing anyhow!

Well, I hate to, but I am tired again! TTYL and have a great day!

Good morning DV'ers! :D. Nice & rainy here today! :)

Sent from my Galaxy S3...

Happy Friday to every one. Hope all are safe. Little drizzle here in the OC, does not matter. FRIDAY!!!

Good morning Sonic, CRSS, and everyone else!

KalebK, we're missing you! Did you get lost in a cloud of vaper? Hope all is well with you!

It's going to be rainy here, today, too! Nice weather to sleep in! Too bad I slept most of last night!

Take care all! I'll be lounging around until the hubby is ready to go to bed! Not tired at all, but I do need to take my meds! *sigh*

A mother was teaching his child about the side-effects of alcohol. She gets two short glasses, filling one with water and the other with whiskey. She says "I want you to see this." She puts a worm in the water, and it swims around. She puts a worm in the whiskey, and the worm dies immediately. She then says, feeling that she has made her point clear, "what do you have to say about this experiment?" The child responds by saying: "If I drink whiskey, I won't get worms!"

Since one of you "kids" brought up the subject of age...got me to thinking. I am probably the (ahem) oldest DVer in this thread. My best advice for staying young is...keep moving. Stretch those muscles everyday...several times a day...walk...cycle...dance...do something, just keep moving. And every chance you get, laugh your silly .... off. :p

Good Lord, how are you supposed to keep from tipping over?! Stand by, gonna try this right now.....ok, well I didn't tip over but that was killer on my wrists trying to hold myself up...lol couldn't get my heels flat to the floor either, the ol' calf muscles said "uh, nope not gonna do that."

I totally agree, though lately since I've been off work, I haven't done a whole lot of moving, pretty sure that's why my back acted up yesterday...no excuse really~~I have a room full of exercise equipment and two dogs who live for a long walk. I totally exercise my "silly" though, sometimes go overboard on it, but it feels good to do it.

So I haven't done anything but clean house this morning, I've been at it since 6:330 this morning...I'm so excited because I reconnected with my best friend from high school on FaceBook, and she's coming over for a visit today. We haven't seen each other for close to 20 years. I hope she looks as old as I do! LOL!!!
