Good morning DVers! Or erhem afternoon lol I got up at 8:30, took my friend to the neurosurgeon and she was VERY relieved to hear that she probably doesn't need surgery. We then went to the local public beauty supply and I picked up a few things, took her home and came home myself. Hubby and I whipped through the house and did a bit of cleaning because one of my friends is coming out to look into getting an eVod so I'm educating her about them... Wow busy day!

Thank you so much for all the compliments on the trailer! I'll post more pics once we get the mattress and comforter in and I get it cleaned to MY specifications lol. Hubby is almost done with the oven door... IDK what the previous owner did to it but it was totally corroded and rusted (this is partly how we talked them down nearly $3000). There is some kind of light stain on the purple dinette cushion that I need to take oxyclean to... Any ideas on getting rust off the base of the stove? I was going to use oven cleaner but the owner manual says not to... :what::screwy:

Well, it's not grouted yet, lol. I did finish the back splash yesterday though. I cleaned house this morning instead of working on the bathroom, I hadn't cleaned much of anything since before we tore up the bathroom, so it seriously needed some order and dust/hair removal before my company got here. Thank God I cleaned too, cuz it turns out she's got dog allergies! GAH! I had no idea, thankfully she'd took allergy meds before coming here, since she knew I had dogs.

I may (or may not) tackle the grout later after dinner, kind of relishing the clean house look right now, it made my mind very relaxed, nice to not feel stressed!

It's coming along nicely... Hubby is continuing to pressure wash tomorrow and getting his brother to weld the steps since I noticed they were giving way under me and he checked and sure enough they were broken in two places... Do you have any idea how badly I could've been hurt had those broke under my weight? OMG Urgh but that trailer place said they went through it with a fine tooth comb... Now my task tomorrow is to take oxyclean and clean the bench cushions. Right now I'm trying to find drapes/curtains that are small enough for the windows in that thing because those ones are all sorts of sun bleached... I'm not having much luck... I don't own a sewing machine so can't really make my own unless I try hand stitching them:banghead:

You can make your own curtains easily without sewing Ree, iron on bias tape is awesome for little projects like that~~just cut the length you need and hit it with the iron and wah-lah! You can pick it up at Walmart in their fabric department. You can find nice fabric remnants there too, or how about some pretty cloth napkins, not sure of the dimensions of your window, but the possibilities are endless.
