Cnew I'm glad your surgery went well too!

Thanks Ree, but I must have confused you. My last surgery was 8 years ago (C-section for my third child). I've managed to bounce back since then, but thanks anyhow!! :)

Cnew, you can't get Tapatalk for your phone? I love it! I use it on occasion, but then I forget to check my PM's...hehe!

Cnew, I missed the part about your shoulder surgery!

Hi Tina, I JUST downloaded the app for Tapatalk for Windows yesterday. I am still figuring out how to post there.
My phone is a Lumia, because hubby works with MS and Nokia, so I'm not allowed anything else :(

I'm afraid it wasn't me who had the shoulder surgery, but I think it might have been Stoney (correct me if I am mistaken, Stoney.) Don't worry, though, I can totally understand the mixup. You can tell us apart by his posts being consistently informative or hilarious and mine being off topic or bad jokes!

It made me sick to watch that. How in the world do these people live with themselves KNOWINGLY screwing people like that ?? :?: I don't get it. That's just WRONG :glare:

Aggie, you already know that what goes around comes around.

Happy hump day every one.

sure enough, my manager just messages me.... telling me after my recovery they want me to head towards managment. darn death star

Hi crss,
Argghhh, the management black hole!!

Just got my new TOY. Thank you DV!

Oh goodness, unsure,
please give us the full review. I know it's apples to oranges against a Woodville VV REO, but how does the gatling gun compare to other tube mods?

Good afternoon DV! Happy Hump Day :)
Just got my new TOY. Thank you DV!
Did you get the LED and laser option? I need the LED and laser option for that Light Saber mod :)...oh and a sound effects package would top it all off :D

Seriously though, congrats! And +1 for a review when you get a chance :thumb:

How do you like the Lumia? It's supposed to be a nice phone :)

I am the one with the shoulder surgery from May, but I disagree with your characterization of our posts. I think we all do a fine posting job here on this thread :thumb:
Hey Cnew or Eric...will DV be carrying the Innokin VTR when it comes out?
I'm going to have to go do a little research about the VTR now, KalebK. Is this what you have chosen to replace the eVic and Vamo, or are you still researching?

good afternoon peoples! Haven't had much chance to get in here, but the bathroom is nearing completion, will be soooo glad when it's finally over. I had to do a little countertop revision around the cutout for the sink, to accommodate the old sink, then it turns out I needed to get a new one anyway, blech...but happy ending to that~~we went to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore here, and I got an almost new Kohler sink for $15!! Plus it had an orange tag, and evidently today all the orange tags were 20% off. What's better is that its a self rimming sink, so I don't have to use that old chrome hudee ring, easier to keep clean and doesn't look so "70's". Omigosh that store is amazing, if you have one in your city, and are looking to make some home improvements, go there and take a look around! They have an vast collection of doors, windows, flooring, carpet, furniture~~ among other things, and everything is so cheap and all the money they make is donated to Habitat for Humanity. Oh, they also do tear downs, if you are donating your old cabinets or whatever, they will come in and remove it for you, the whole place is run by volunteers. Can't go wrong there.

I must say, I like the touch screen on my Lumia, but Windows is far behind Apple and Android for variety of apps. I think that margin will grow smaller over time, as Microsoft is such a major player and will attract more developers.
The next Lumia release will be a cross between a tablet and a smartphone, not quite as big as a tablet but bigger than a smartphone. I like it for portability, but can see how it might be too big for some people. It looks like it will have a great camera though. Think that will be rolling out early next year. Good review of it in the WSJ over the weekend:

:D I have one of those stores not too far from me Zooker. And yes, they gots bargains galore in there ! :D I also pick things up at our Humane Society thrift store alot. It's non profit and the money feeds/vet bills for the animals so I go there when I can :D Most of those kinds of stores around me are for good causes. Also have one that pays the Battered Women & Children, another does charity and burn victims that have lost homes in fire. I'd rather give to those places then go to big box stores when I can for certain stuff. I proud of you ! :D

Oh! I've seen the sign for Paws for Claws store before, I knew it was for the humane society, but for some reason I was thinking it was just pet food? I'll bet it's a thrift store, derrrrrrr!! I totally need to go pay that place a visit, thanks for bringing that up! I love to give my business to a store that pays it forward like that!! Forgot to mention they had a giant shelf full of free stuff right outside the front door too, I picked up a box of various ceramic tiles, going to try my hand at mosaic, maybe some kind of creation for the ol' bathroom once I'm done with everything else.

It went in my favor today! I was supposed to be there 6 hours and after less than 3 the physical therapist that was evaluating me came in and said it's pretty clear that I couldn't do that exam and she thought I should come back and do the one hour one and she's going to call my primary care practitioner and my disability attorney and ask them if that works for them. I'd say that works in favor of disability getting approved it just sucks that I've gone from being able to heft 120 lbs dogs around to this inability to even do some very basic marching in place.

Hey Zooker, I think Cnew wants to make sure you pick an ambitious mosaic project  I say give the one in the middle a shot, complete with mosaic pedestal sink!

Umm, yeahhhhhNo, I don't think so, lol. However, I am thinking those pink roses would look lovely in your bathroom Stoney, what day is good for you? :smokie:
