I've been browsing all day on my tablet
(yes, I know I should be resting, but it hurts more when I am not "active")

anyway, I think perhaps my best option is go get a CC terminal or CC terminal software. This way I can temporarily get the Credit Card info from the order via a secure link on my website and then delete the info after it's been processed. The only problem with this is that I probably won't have an online order history beyond a few days.

My thinking is security, while I will be 100% concerned about it, if my "host" ever gets hacked at least no credit card data would be taken. I am investigating an option or two. It would still be "manual" but I'd have full control of it and no one would be able to deny me and I could probably write some code that upates the order to paid status immediately so you guys don't have to wait for me to wake up and process. I know I'll pay a lot more in fee's but you gotta do what you gotta do.

So my question is, is it a stumbling block to have people enter credit card details on my website?
Do you think someone would balk at entering cc at my website? (even if using a secure page?)

How do other vendors do it? do they do it this way? I am sure they can't use PayPal so they must right?

Also, thank you to a bunch of people already for not having an issue with the new payment method. So far it's working well. :2cool:

If you have a bank that will set you up with a cc terminaol than you should be able to process cc on your site or through their cc processing site. That usually doesn't take that long to setup it's the inital setup process that takes time for the approval.

Here's a link to an older post here but I tested the link to the external site and it still works http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...te-merchant-processing-solution-provider.html maybe they can help you... You can just do a search he for credit card processing and see what pops up. Hope this helps.

Me and the Family are sending our best energies and well wishes to you for a speedy healing Eric. Feel better soon my Friend.

I really hope you were fast enough to cancel that deposit to PayCrooks. Paypal is ridiculous doing this to people.

Best wishes;
Nate aka Darth Vapor

^^^ That!

Also, I have too no problems with entering my cc in your website as long as it's a secure page. :)

 PayCrooks  love that!

These EPower Dual Coil 6ml Cartomizer that Eric has in his Bargain Bin are awesome! Now that he has the 510-510 adapter I hope to be using them on my VV PT but they work great on a regular eGo for now. They pack quite the punch so they aren't for the faint of heart. LOL

For awhile I was using the eGo Mega Dual Coil Cartos when I switched off between my GoGo and my eGo (too many eGo batteries to let them just sit not being used) and I can say these are better and last much longer. The EMDCC didn't last very long before the draw was too hard but these are just as good today as they were a week ago and that's using my DIY dark, thick, chocolate eliquid.

Aesthetically I doubt I would go out in public with one because they look like baby bottles but at home or while driving they're great and hold 6mls! I definitely think it's worth having a few on hand for those times refilling a carto isn't convenient.

Can't wait for these cartos to arrive! I agree about the EMDCCs. They drive me crazy! :(

Eric,
I have NO problem putting my credit card info on your website if you have Visa and you have a secure website.
I buy a LOT via the internet and the only problem I have EVER had was with Paypal.
I have tons of security on my computer and it will not allow me to put my credit info on any site that is not secure.
When I had my business, Visa took 4% off the top-but it was well worth it to me.!
Plus customers tend to spend more when they can use a Visa card. ( at least my customers did )!!

Sorry to be dumb, but what's the purpose of a 510 to 510 adapter? Would it be used as a spacer?

Not only can it be used as an extension but many folks use them to protect the brass connector on their PV's. Fact is, not many use anything but brass on the connector threads, even on ridiculously priced mods. The use of a shorty adapter minimizes the wear and tear on the connector threads. I se them a lot and am VERY happy to see them in stock at Eric's! :thumb:

I don't have any problems with storing my CC info Eric but (no offense) as much as you stress over your stuff, have you ever considered Google Checkout? I use a number of online sites that have it.

You basically have a portal on your site at the check out. When the user submits their order, it redirects to Googles site where THEY have to deal with security and such. It relieves you of that burden. A user can store many different cards or just one as they choose. Once Google Checkout verifies the purchase, it redirects back to your site.

Also, with Google Checkout, you have the same CC info stored in one place and any vendor or site that uses it means you don't have to enter the same info over and over again. Not sure of their fee structure but just an idea. :)

I actually prefer credit card over paypal (as long as it's a trusted site), but maybe I'm just weird that way. Paypal is clunky. When I used your site, I usually went through paypal as a guest and used my cc info anyway.

I did the same. I had a PayPal account - they did bizarre things - and they wouldn't even let me cancel my account. I had to cancel the credit card to get loose from PayPal. I don't do PayPal - period - unless it's as a guest - and I don't really like that. I would much rather the vendor have my credit card information than PayPal. I also hate the idea that they think they can decide what you buy or don't buy (i.e. e-cigs). It's none of their business, but I was denied once for just this and this alone. The next thing I hate about them is no way to speak to or write to a human being - everything is automated and there is no personal service of any kind. If it can't be handled by one of their mail robots - it won't be handled at all. In short, I wish that everyone would pull the plug on PayPal - their business practices SUCK!

Great idea Major! Unfortunately, they don't allow e-cigs either, from what I can tell:

A page on unacceptable product categories:
https://checkout.google.com/support/sell/bin/answer.py?answer=75724&hl=en

This is on the list:
Tobacco and cigarettes - Cigarettes, cigars, chewing tobacco, and alternative products

I did some "googling" and found many instances of people getting their accounts suspended or closed for selling e-cigs on Google Checkout, just like w/PP. So :censored: ridiculous.

Anyway, I did some more research (I'm wired & bored atm  ), and found a processor here on ECF that works w/E-cig companies. But I see you've already posted on that thread!

I don't recall if anyone else mentioned this item as one you should consider stocking, but I'd like to put my :2c: in on the SmokTech 1.7 ohm 510 cartos. WOW!

I recently obtained a small tank mod based on this carto to play with and it hits really REALLY well on the Go-Go battery (and the ePower too-not as important though hehe)! :vapor: :vapor: :vapor: This is the vape for which I've been searching! I'm curious if they hit this well without the tank too?? :?:

I am diggin this! :2cool:

I'd rather buy these cartos from you if possible. These are awesome! :D

Dang it's late! Ok...vape on folks. :vapor:

ETA: They're a little longer than normal too: 48mm; I think the standard is 35??? :?:

As delirium sets in, Sonic can be heard laughing and running down the hallway behind huge plumes of vapor...
