Correct, it's not the moniker, it's the originator.

I am fairly certain they are vertical, but I do not know for sure. I will ask.

For the wet, it is using a fill so keeping them wet will not be as critical. That said, all cartos work better when they are full all the time. Personally I do not let mine ever get down to the end, I refill Go-go carts all the time way before they could be empty and that I think helps keep them alive and free of gunk longer.

In case you wanted to know the horizontal vs. vertical for other reasons:

Here is my opinion on the subject :)
From a purely uneducated view, and when used properly, I do not see how a vertical or horizontal coil would make any difference whatsoever. I know there have been discussions about it and many feel the horizontal are better, but again in my uneducated opinion, that is due to confusion of cause and effect with a pinch of enthusiasm thrown in.

A company that makes a good vertical, will also make a good horizontal and vice versa.
If a company has a rep for a good vertical coil and then comes out with a new improved horizontal coil the psyche relates it to being better, even if it is exactly the same as the previous and in turn the enthusiasm for them spreads from person to person and a "good" could becomes a "great" and more desirable coil even though it's the same.

As an "insider" I know that these companies put out the same stuff and relabel them to generate buzz and interest, just last week I received a few price lists with the exact same thing in them labels as improved with new names

Again, my opinion is basically armchair electronics here, I do understand the mechanics, but I am not an expert, I just do not see the difference between horizontal and vertical in terms of one being better than another (when used properly and keeping them wet). I think it's misplaced perception spreading from one person to another.

If anyone knows a proper reason one would be better than another please educated me :)

As others have said and I have found over the months to be a true virtue of the Go-carts is the horizontal coil. Some don't take to rebuilding due to spotty coil control but I am proud to say I was one of the first followers of the Mohawkz Methods of rebuilding the Go-carts.

I have some that have been rebuilt so many times, I am not usre what vintage they are. Dual horizontals are made and like the single coils, are less likely to burn your filler due to the coils being at the bottom. So even if you only rinse and reuse, the horizontals are the best for repeated use.

The only problem I personally have found with using vertical dual and triple coils is that the same heat from 2 coils that gives you the warmer vape will also cause issues if you're a juice hog like me.

I tend to get wrapped up in whatever I am doing and if you let the upper most coil in a vertical dual get dry, they are toast. If they don;t actually burn the filler, they do singe it and give a funky taste. Kinda reminds me of back in the day when I used to smoke ands partake in adult beverages too far and would light a filter having the wrong end in my mouth.

Not bragging about being stupid but that is the taste a singed dual coil reminds me most of.

Sorry to hear about brother Chopper's absence for the moment. I too found out there are a lot of little rules even for an Associate. Like having to PM any supplier for express written permission to post on their sub-forums or threads, even as a customer as I am with Eric.

I'm sure Chopper will get back up and running. He is a valuable asset to the Go-Go Nation so hopefully sooner than later! :thumb:

I know you had to do it due to ECF rules but in my opinion anyone can post in my thread as long as its not disruptive or outright marketing for someone else. Other than that everyone is free to post here. I understand ECF's rules though I could see how it could get way out of hand if there was no rule on the subject.

:)

Update on Choppers situation.

I believe he is at goal, so unless you are feeling especially generous, I think the task is done and I am sure he appreciates it and will pay you all back when he gets back on. The processes isn't overnight so it may be a while.

Naw...it's my investment in Go-Go Nation! :D

An issue cropped up with me trusting people again...

I opened up reviews on my website for anyone to post, well today I had about 36 or so reviews all negative saying silly things about products. I deleted them, I want to be open and upfront about that.

I will accept ANY review on the website good or bad but from now on it has to be from a registered user. This is so I can make sure it is an actual customer posting the review and so I can have the opportunity to right any perceived wrongs.

Just letting you all know.
:)

I suspected it was fraudulent as I don't even think I have 36 total reviews to begin with.

That BS is part of the game. Other vendors can't compete with your pricing and customer service so this is what they think of to hurt your business. Reviews should always come from a registered user or they are invalid. I'm with you on deleting them. Also, reviews should only be accepted if the customer actually purchased that product. Kinda hard to give an honest review if you had never tried the item you are reviewing.

Good idea, that! I know some suppliers have it locked so it's submitted to the "webmaster" for review before being published. I don't think it's out of the question to ask for patience to see your review on the website, IMO. Especially if it keeps out the riff-raff; be it a competitor w/an axe to grind or someone just out for kicks, so to speak. Stupid riff-raff. :glare:

By the way, you should know that a competitor put his remaining Go-Go kits (silver & black) up for clearance for $25. Says he will keep batts, replacements, but no more kits. I think they're out now, but that may have an impact - don't know, just thought you might like to know, if you didn't already.

Yup, thanks, I knew. It's all good, I wish him the best, he's a nice guy.

I wanted to let everyone know about a problem with one of the nicotine vendors. Wherever you buy your eLiquid you should ask where they get their nicotine or at least if they buy it from Box Elder. Please read this thread... it's about as bad as it gets!
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/diy-e-liquid/239728-houston-we-have-problem-nic-titration-results.html#post4565305

I was glad to hear that Eric DOES NOT buy from Box Elder.

Correct :) I also test everything, every batch just in case something is wrong, if it's going to bad, I'll know about it.
I vape it first before anyone else.

I have another recent order that I am very please with, so you have just encouraged me to write some positive reviews about the products I received. I'm very happy with everything I got, so they will be honest.

It does make me feel bad that you're having to put up with all this baloney to run an honest business. You probably will have to protect your web site in numerous ways because I'm sure that your competitors aren't happy with you. I think it would be quite reasonable to limit reviews to registered users. I'm aware of numerous sites that comments are checked before they can be seen by the public. Your good customers will understand. I understand that you don't want to limit legitimate negative reviews, but limiting reviews to registered and logged in users is not unreasonable at all. That might also limit inappropriate language.
