Thanks Eric and orachel

If that is the case then I will just stick with my go-go devices.

A fresh battery is just too hot for me and what I prefer but I will get along with it..Anything over 4 is just too much for me but that is just me.

I was considering something with the 18650 but that really would be too hot for me..

Epower is 3.6v with the right switch. The switch on my 14650 from eric @3.6v. Will fall to 3.3v with a depleted battery, but not above 3.6v. There are switches that are unregulated out there. I have both kinds for the 14650. I assume the same holds true for the 18650.

They are similar but not the same, I haven't tried the E1 yet so I can't review it to say one way or another, like everything else it will be a preference kind of thing. The E1 has replaceable tubes in colors and cores and is a tank like carto while the CE5 is more stylish? Plus it is an eGo C head, so some may already have some of the parts Just different variations on the same thing I guess.

I should have a handle on the E1 tomorrow night.

Just get them to me, and we can hack them together. :)

Thanks for the tip, i use the go-carts mostly. I have the CE4+ DV version and I like that very much.. I did buy one of the CE4 LR's and that is too hot with a new batt for sure..

I was considering the XL3 and may still think about that..

I have the XL3 (wood mod) and it's been working well. I generally use it in the 3.7v with my ViVi tank until the battery gets low, and then I use it with my LR atty for dripping at 3.2v. If you can afford one of Lewis' XL3 wood mods, I would highly recommend it, otherwise the black XL3 should work fine for you.

Ok, cracking UP right now! You mean that tiny flashlight goes on your FINGER??!!! Somehow that never occurred to me, so I couldn't figure out what the rubber band part was for. Oh, the kitty is gonna have a blast, now, if all I have to do is twitch a finger so the beam goes flying. And yes... the nightime guy thing... too true. ;) I know from being the other party in that equation... the one who actually CLEANS the bathroom. rofl

And ERIC, I put a link around to both the new CE5's and the replaceable heads. Question... do we ever foresee those being available in different resistances? Vivi is out for me, just cause my troubleshooting extraordinaire buddy tried one, and he can barely keep it working (his wasn't as nice as some that are out there, though) and I know if he can't use em with ease, I sure won't be able to. But I love the idea of being able, perhaps not multiple times a day, but once in a while to change ohms. Oh, and are the Ce5s in the same plastic as the original Ce4s? I'm assuming they are, but figured it was worth an ask.

The CE5's yes I would think so, the E1's not sure I got a non committal answer from the manufacturer, the "engineers" were concerned about burned taste at a lower res but higher yes. Plastic.. seems VERY strong but not entirely sure if it's the new stuff or not i would guess as to yes, the answer I got was yes, but they did not know exactly what I meant when I asked, I will follow up.

My personal review of the E1: (5 minutes in)

I like them but as any first run there are slight issues:

The very first one I opened has slight glue residue on the inside where the tube meets the chrome, I wish they would learn to use a better glue. This is kind of expected but still, they need to figure out how to do it right.
The tubing is thin, with the tank apart its apparent with it put together it feels fine.
The vape is very decent but not ground breaking, it does seem to be nice and smooth and consistent which is more than I can say for a lot of other clearos, and no burnt taste immediately after filling and using (unlike the CE4) there doesn't seem to be much if any breaking in period, just tip it once to get it going.
Taking them apart is really easy and it fits a 510 drip tip just fine.
Looks and fits great on an eGo battery, it's a perfect fit actually.
In short, to me it's not quite worth what I am charging unless you consider the rebuildable factor. Unfortunately due to what it cost me I can't lower the price yet.

I wouldn't say I am disappointed but I expected more, I DO like it and it WILL replace the CE4 for me.
I am not a rebuilder type of guy so although they are ridiculously easy to rebuild that's not a contributing factor for me, if it is for you, the worth just went up for sure.

Also if you like short wicks.. just cut them :)

They did not send me the colored tanks assembled so anyone ordering a color will have it unpacked, put together and packed again by me.

The colored replacement tanks.. barely worth the cost it's shoddy workmanship the cut line is not precise and it looks like a layer of color film (although it is not just kinda looks that way due to the cut) once there is liquid inside it doesn't matter but my first impression was poor.

But cool to have to change the look on the cheap :)

edit: a few more minutes with it and I like the vape better so looks like it will get better with use :) :)

I hope I haven't put anyone off on these, I do need to sell them lol, but I am trying to be brutally honest with this one as there seems to be some hype out there.

note the smudges around the edges you see in this picture is due to the flash, not the glue, it's not this noticeable.

Eric, are those round or whistle tips? If you have any whistle ones, please send them my way.
Also, are you going to carry whistle tips for the CE4/5's?

Thanks sweetie,

Cookster

they are round.. about the whistle tips, you want me to go broke?? LOL just kidding, I do have generic whistle tips in the drip tip section but not for CE4's
they are 510's

Lol, you're such a cutie ;) No, I was on some site, I think SI, and they have flat tips for the CE4's, I wasn't sure if every one was going to carry them, and I am NOT going to another vendor!
