Don't even open the box unless by chance they sent the original version with the CE3 air-tube and seal.
that will not make a difference, they do not refund regardless of what you do, it's not like the US where you can refuse a shipment.
Ok, so to be clear, mine are late, I am hoping this was because they redid it, but it said it was in customs but that could be a ruse.. who knows.
what exactly should I look for if someone knows?

They took the inner tube and top seal out so its just a hollow tube with a coil at the bottom maybe 1 out of the 30 poeples is working
I believe it doesn't come with a cap because there is no cap to fit the assorted cartos that can fit on it. I understand why you might want one, but now it's like any other battery without a cap, before the cap protected the tidy 10 carto they sold with it.
and I have black and chameleon, no stainless, I passed on the white this time

But I really think they just messed up and hopefully for you ,You get the good ones .
It basically just has a hollow tube with the coil and wick at the bottom according to the pictures I've seen. I was waiting for you to get them so I didn't order one. GV is doing a complete refund for the hundreds they've sold according to Dannos Video. I felt sorry for the guy he really looked stressed.
A few have said they are working but 95% of the reports are bad.
I guess they completely changed the design from what was originally sent out to test.

I feel bad for them as well, on a human level I don't want ANY vendor to lose money or face.
This is why I am careful not to hype something, the factories over there are known to screw up all the time (just take a look in my trash over the last 40 days lol). My policy (for the most part) is NOT to say how a product will perform ahead of time. You just do not know.
this also put the kebosh on the 'we designed it' stuff also because those two guys aren't stupid and they wouldn't design something so poorly
I have LOST money this month as a seller because of the quality of recent products, if this one comes in bad, I am seriously hosed.

Yep i didnt even bother unwrapping mine how do they think that would even work .but on the other side for you if you get the good ones it will be good for you lol.

But that wouldn't really be fair to GV either. I'd rather not profit on someone else's misfortune, so if it happens I'll be a bit torn, happy I wasn't screwed, sad someone else was.
I think they are getting a credit cause it was not what they paid for they took out half the item and didn't tell them and charged the same .
Yeah, really is a shame for them the way this turned out. They had some test units that apparently worked well, but may have had a tendency to flood or seep out if left unused for a while. The manufacturer assured them that they had tweaked the units including increased detail to attention to wick placement and wrap. Instead, they changed the setup completely. With 4 of the 5 I have the juice passageway almost completely blocked, the coil has no separation between wraps, and there is no way to adjust or mod.
At least the tanks are nice, and are identical to the Segelei less the chrome DT.

Just ordered 20 SmokeTech tank carto's. Every little bit helps.
Pre-punched carto in a tank. Back to basics.
well that's good, all else fails I'll have some tank parts to sell lol
that's the only reason I bought the segelei, if they were crap I could just sell them as parts or sell them with a smoktech...
I've fallen in love with the Segelei tanks and the double dotted Smoke Tech carto's. I haven't used carto's in a long time mainly because I'd have to pitch them after only a day or two with the juices I vape. Always figured it would be the same in a tank since I would always keep them wet, but for whatever reason I'm getting good life and flavor with this set up, and it fits and looks nice on my Provari Mini.
I looked at some of the high end tanks, but I change up flavors so often I'd go broke buying tanks. I just don't see nearly enough difference between your $6 tanks, and the $60 high end tanks. I'd rather buy 10 than 1
Oh, and if you do get stuck with the Dodo bird atty in a tank, and decide to part out the tanks, I'll give the poor little guys a good home.

I picked up some from that other place, and ran into the same trouble. They changed the design since my beta, and since the beta was awesome, it is baffling why. I loved them so much, I ordered 2 of the smaller tanks, and 5 more cartos. I got them in today, and they aren't even close to what they were.
Once you get them in, give me a ring. We can compare them to the beta, and the new ones.
Ought to be pretty straightforward. No stem, no silicone top plug ala the CE3 xl=fail.
They did fix the "minor" leaking problem. Can't leak if you plug up the holes!

Crazy why they would change something even before they were being sold. They said they changed it because of leaking problems. Did you have leaking with the one you tested? Maybe they will be smart enough to go back to the original design and all they will need to do is send out more cartos.
