I received a PM with a question regarding the need for a 510 to eGo Thread Adapter when using the DV CE5. Others may have the same question, or are confused by all the variables. I'll try to clarify this as best I can.

The DV CE5 is an eGo "style" device (with regards to the outer skirt) but it uses 510 threading that is recessed up in the base.

The DV CE5 can be screwed directly on to the LAMBO, iTASTE, eGO batteries, and VMax (Red LED Version. I do not own a Blue LED Version to verify this).

You must use either a 510 to eGO Thread Adapter (or a long style 510 to 510 Thread Adapter) to use the DV CE5 on APVs such as the Provari, LavaTube, GRIPPER, and V8. Note that on the V8 which comes with the 510 to eGo Adapter, a second Adapter is NOT required and the DV CE5 does fit down into the well of the V8.

And now you know "the rest of the story" for all you Paul Harvey fans.

You guys crack me up..

We got something like 3? 4? incompatible atty-heads now, and you get all wet/excited about metal-sleeves to cover a clear tank??

Sheesh, and I thought those loons at MV were crazy for pretending that 30 fruity-colors of tanks/clearo were "new" and each deserved a picture.

did you email me today? someone emailed me and it was empty no text telling to answer "my damn email" (I think it was meant in jest) or something like that lol

Not sure why but for some reason your ecf names rings a bell but I could be confusing it with something else.
I don't know if I am going loco or not

Whahhhhhhhh my new DV mini vivi leakes from the bottom, right where it threads to the tube. It vapes awesome, but I had to vape it with a tissue wrapped around it last night because it was getting all over my hand. I so wanted to use it for work, but there's no way I can leave it in my bag and let it leak all over. I'm going to open up the other one and see if it leaks too--anyone else have issues with it leaking? I don't use any juices that crack tubes (cinnamon, etc.) so I know it's not damaged, it just leaks. I might just pick up some cool colored duct tape and try to seal it with that.

I believe there is a white oring on the bottom, check that, see if it is out of line?

I really gotta figure out where to get the proper orings for all these items it's like all this stuff is special or something.... everything I try, no go.

Poll/Question:

Is anyone interested in a Vivi Nova that you can remove the coil head without taking off the tube?
I have a supplier who sells all the versions (including the metal covers) that has a new one, the drip tip is built in AND the removable head is extra long so you can unscrew the top and remove it that way.

Personally I see this as a great improvement but want some feedback before I buy.

Thanks Eric-- I had no idea there was an o-ring in there, I will have a look right now, pretty sure all the juice has probably leaked out by now, lol

Ok, I took it apart and cleaned everything, there is no o-ring...so I unwrapped the other one I bought and took it apart, no o-ring in that either...so i don't think they come with one. I put it back together and refilled it and sat it on some paper towels to check for leaking in a few minutes--maybe it was just screwed on wonky when I unwrapped it yesterday and I didn't notice...crossin' my fingers, because I sure like how it looks on my mini batteries with the thread cover on. Either way, I'll still use it, I'll just get some pretty colored duct tape and seal it up with that if it still leaks.

It's a no from me Eric. I like a cooler vape and seems that coil is gonna be too close for comfort. With a built in drip tip I wouldn't even have the option of putting one on there that would let me distance myself from the heat.

Yes, I want one Eric, that would be awesome. Although I have yet to change a head in any of my ViVis, which is a good thing since I dont have any replacements! Hahaha, Seriously though, they vape like a dream! So nobody can tell me why the T2 isnt working for me?! I am super sad because I love how they look and that they hold 2.4ml of juice!!!
