Today is hopegully the day when "Eric's mod" arrives at DV.

Fingers crossed.

I did see some bad news in a review by Rnoserous regarding the batteries fitting too tight. This may well be the case, as I notice that when I remove the bottom cap from my VMax the lower 18350 AW remains stuck in the cap. We'll see.

Eric, a V2 may be on the horizon quicker than we think. Good thinking on only a limited quantity for testing!

Well I love mine and yours will have tracking shortly.

I'll third this :D

Thanks for the info Eric. I'll let them know you're waiting on a new revision.

For the record, I love mine, and have never had a problem, other than the extra high PWM going on, but I've adapted to that pretty easily (there's the batt door issue, but you took care of that one!). BTW, the 3.2ohm head on the T2 makes using the V8 sooo much easier to use. Although, the SR one wasn't bad at 3-3.2 v, it's more fun playing around w/it now w/the higher resistance! :D

I'm usually pretty careful w/everything I get as I get familiar with it, except of course for the Vivi tank incident. :glare:

I am so frustrated, even with the 3.2 ohm heads that I got, the T2 burns the back of my throat even at 3.0 on my V8! :(

I had the same problem with my V8s even with the 4.0 heads. I found the the Gripper vv work great with them though. I think it depends a lot on the juice you are using. One of my juices work better then the others using the V8. I have given all the V8 to my wife and she loves them with the Smok eGo mega dual coils. The V8s are the old style with the built in eGo adapter. I have a newer one that doesn't have the adapter and I can't get an adapter to work on it I have tried many. So that one just sits idle :).

I'm using my T2 on the standard EVO Transformer head (3.7V). My older T2's needed a bit more power, but these are giving me huge amounts of vapor with low voltage. I don't have an ohm tester at the office, so I will have to check it when I get home. But, there may be something we can figure out.

I will connect with you tonight, and we can see what we can figure out. I have the original V8, and the Selegei Tube which has the same electronics as the new V8s. My Selegei VV tube is all prettied up with it's red belt, and matching shoes. :p

Eric do u not have the silver Gripper anymore? I am having trouble deciding between the Gripper, Lambo 4.0 and the EVO Transformer.... Thoughts anyone?

I have all 3.

The Gripper is pretty nice, but the most fragile of the 3. It's comfortable, and takes a single battery. I like it a lot.

The Lambo is pretty cool, and constant voltage, so none of the PWM over-power of the V8, and it's built like a tank. It is the strongest of the 3.

The EVO Transformer is the one I am taking with me everywhere right now. Just so cool. The menu is like the Vmax, constant voltage, can swap around tubes, buy extra heads, it smaller than the Lambo and Vmax, lighter, etc... I am testing to see how long it lasts right now.

Both the Lambo and EVO Transformer can use lower resistance attomizers than the Vmax and VV Gripper.
